Feels Like Frost

I’m continuing with Christmas cards because I accidentally made another one. The Feels Like Frost DSP is so beautiful, it almost make Christmas cards for you!

I matted the DSP with night of navy and then mounted it on a thick whisper white card base. The sentiment comes from Joyful Holly and is stamped in night of navy. Finally it was cut out with the Stitched so Sweetly dies and popped up with dimensionals.

Next I decided to show that the Feels Like Frost DSP can also make non-Christmas cards.

I layered the piece of DSP onto a Highland Heather card base. Next I stamped the sentiment from Peaceful Moments in Gorgeous Grape and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies.

I did think about adding embellishments but I don’t think this paper needs it.

I’ll be doing my usual Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST and will demonstrate a number of cards using this DSP.

Forever Fern

This week I’m showcasing the Forever Fern bundle although I only used the stamps again today. I decided to make my own DSP for this card.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Forever Fern - Peaceful Moments

Using Pretty Peacock and just one of the stamps, I created a background for my card. I then matted it in Pretty Peacock and mounted it on a thick whisper white card base. The sentiment comes from Peaceful Moments and is stamped in Pretty Peacock and cut out with the Stitched so Sweetly dies and popped up with dimensionals.

I’ll be demonstrating this card plus two others on Sunday at 11am EST on Facebook. Come and join me! Place a $25 order and I’ll send you the card kit to make these.

The Right Triangle

Here’s the second card this week highlighting the Right Triangle stamp set. This time I’m using just the stamp set.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Right Triangle bundle - Peaceful Moments - Stitched so sweetly Dies

I used just two of Wednesday’s colors, just jade and gorgeous grape, for this card. Being unable to find my biggest block, I used the stamparatus to stamp the really large triangles. After that I stamped the little tulips up the diagonal. Since The Right Triangle set doesn’t have any sentiments, I again  reached Peaceful Moments. This time I used the Stitched so Sweetly dies.

I’ll be demonstrating the three cards made this week using The Right Triangle bundle on my usual Facebook live at 11am on Sunday. Come and join me and have a chance to win something merely by sharing my Live.

In Good Taste DSP

This week I’m focusing on one of the new designer series papers in the new annual catalog, In Good Taste DSP and this is the second card that I’ve shared using it. It’s such a great photograph that it really feels as if the texture is real and on the paper!

This card has a smaller border than Wednesday’s – I like to change them around and see what difference it makes – compare this one with Wednesday and let me know which border you like best.

I used early espresso for the skinny mat and put it on a rococo rose card base. The sentiment again comes from Peaceful Moments (I think you’re going to see a lot of this stamp set in the coming year!) and it’s stamped in early espresso. I used the Stitched so sweetly dies to cut this out and then added some champagne rhinestones for a little sparkle.

I’ll be demonstrating this card and two others on Sunday at 11am EST on Facebook (MyElegantCards) and I’ll also share it to YouTube

Timeless Tulips

I’m featuring the stamp set Timeless Tulips this week along with the tulip builder punch which is a bundle that you could get for free by joining my team this month. You get the usual $125 of product for $99 with free shipping plus your choice of a bundle. It’s an amazing deal.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Timeless Tulips - Stitched So Sweetly dies

This one I made with just the stamps. I used pear pizzazz for the stalks and leaves and then melon mambo and mango melody for the tulips. Tulips are my favourite flowers so this card makes me happy.

I added a melon mambo layer and then stamped the sentiment (also in the Timeless Tulips set) in mango melody and then cut it out using the Stitched so Sweetly dies.

Simple, easy and quite effective I think.
