Peaceful Place Specialty DSP

This week’s product is the rather gorgeous Peaceful Place Specialty DSP (156394, $15). It’s a specialty paper due to all the silver foil. It’s quite spectacular and I had a hard time selecting which 3 patterns to showcase this week.

This is a very simple card to make – the DSP is cut to 5 1/2 by 2 inches and glued to a white card base. Next stamp the tree from Evergreen Elegance in Evening Evergreen and then add the mat. After that add the layer to the card. After that you need to stamp the sentiment (from Poinsettias Petals), cut it out with Stitched Rectangle dies and then attach with dimensionals. Finally you need to add a few basic rhinestones.

I showed this card plus 2 others at my Facebook live earlier today. I also copied it to YouTube if you prefer that medium.

All Squared Away bundle

This week’s product is the All Squared Away bundle (158382, $45) which consists of the All Squared stamp set and the Floral Squares dies.

I stamped a few of the squares onto scrap paper using Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia. Next I die cut the flowers and also included some silver foil as well. I then glued the flowers onto the right hand side of the Whisper White layer and added it to a Polished Pink card base. On another piece of scrap, I stamped the sentiment in Polished Pink, cut it out with the Stitched Rectangles dies and popped it up with dimensionals. The final touch was adding some basic rhinestones in the centre of the flowers.

I’ll be showing how I made this at my Live on Sunday at 11am EDT along with another 2 using this bundle. Do join me live or on the replay.

Whimsy & Wonder DSP

This week I’m using the Whimsy & Wonder DSP which is now available to order. I really love this paper.

Like Friday’s card this is also a good card to make in multiples; the 2 sheets with this pattern will allow you to make 24 quite quickly.

The 2 inch wide piece of DSP is layered onto a Mint Macaron mat which just peeks out at the side. It’s then added to a Whisper White card base – I use a ruler to ensure that the strip is flush with the card base. Next the sentiment from Whimsical Trees was stamped in Mint Macaron and cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies. It was then popped up with dimensionals and some basic rhinestones were added.

I’ll be making this card and 2 others on my Facebook Live later today at 11am EDT – join me then. If you share my Live I’ll add you to the following week’s raffle.

Whimsy & Wonder DSP

This week I’m using the Whimsy & Wonder DSP which is now available to order. My order is already on its way to me!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Whimsy & Wonder DSP - Stitched Rectangle dies

This is a good card to make in multiples; the 2 sheets with this pattern will allow you to make a dozen quite quickly and with the foil in the pattern, you don’t need to add any other embellishments.

The piece of DSP is layered onto a Mint Macaron mat and then onto a Whisper White card base. Next the sentiment from Whimsical Trees was stamped in Mint Macaron and cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies. It was then popped up with dimensionals and that’s it!

I’ll be making this card and 2 others on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EDT – join me then. If you share my Live I’ll add you to the following week’s raffle.

Delicate Dahlias

This week I’m making cards with the free Sale-a-bration item, Delicate Dahlias which is free with a $100 order.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Delicate Dahlias - Stitched Rectangle dies

For this card I inked up the leaf stamp in Mossy Meadow and the small flower in Polished Pink and stamped up the side of a whisper white layer. I then inked the small leaf in Mossy Meadow but stamped off once on scrap paper before adding to the layer. The layer was then added to a Polished Pink card base. Next the sentiment was stamped in Polished Pink and cut out with the Stitched Rectangle dies. It was popped up with dimensionals.

I’ll be showing you how I made this, along with 2 other cards, on Sunday at 11am on my Facebook Live.
