Touched my Heart

Here’s card number 2 using this week’s featured set, the host set, Touched my Heart. As I mentioned earlier, a host set can only be bought with host rewards that are awarded when your order (individual or as a host) is over $150.

This is another simple card (my favourite type) showcasing some of the stamps from the Touched my Heart stamp set. I used mossy meadow, pear pizzazz, mango melody and rococo rose. I glued the layer to a mango melody card base and used the same ink to stamp the sentiment – also from the Touched my heart stamp set. The sentiment was die cut using the Rectangle Stitched dies and popped up with dimensionals.  This is an easy to card to make a lot of multiples in all sorts of color ways.

Gnome for the Holidays

Here’s card three using Gnome for the Holidays. It’s an adorable set and very relaxing to sit down and color. This time I included all the gnomes.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Gnome for the Holidays

I stamped all of the gnomes in memento black and then colored them using blends  – poppy parade, shaded spruce, crumb cake and mango melody. Next I added a touch of clear Wink of Stella on the decorations. The gnomes were then layered on top of  a piece of poppy parade which had been dry embossed with the Winter Snow embossing folder. This layer was adhered to a thick whisper white card base and adorned with a sentiment. It also comes from the Gnome for the Holidays set and was die cut using the Rectangular Stitched Framelits Dies. The final touch was a bow from the All the Trimmings combo ribbon pack.

This was demonstrated on my Facebook live earlier today along with 2 others cards.

Gnome for the Holidays

Here’s card two with this week’s fun set, Gnome for the Holidays. It’s so much fun.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Gnome for the Holidays

I stamped the little house with memento black and then colored the image using blends  – poppy parade, shaded spruce, crumb cake and mango melody. Next it was placed onto a card base of  Poppy Parade. After that I stamped one of the sentiments from the Gnome for the Holidays set in Poppy Parade and popped it up using dimensionals.  It would be easy to stamp out a number of these and then colour in whilst at the doctors, dentists or even watching television. Before you’d know where you are, you’d have a load of half finished Christmas cards!

Stop back on Sunday to see another card using Gnome for the Holidays which I will then demo on my regular Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST along with the other two from this week.

Press On again

Here’s the third card using the Press On stamp set for this week. All three are simple – and hopefully elegant – and quick to make so that you can have some encouraging cards on hand. The three cards were demonstrated this morning on my Facebook Live at 11am.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Press On - Rectangle Stitched Dies

The halo, or whatever it is, is heat embossed in gold. The cup and the beans were stamped in early espresso with a little poppy parade heart on the cup. I layered the very vanilla layer simply with an early espresso mat and then glued that to a very vanilla card base. The sentiment was also heat embossed in gold then cut out with the Stitched Rectangles dies and popped up with dimenstionals.

Apparently I wrote this but didn’t publish it – sorry about that.

Press On

This week I’m exploring the Press On stamp set which is all about coffee. Possibly an odd choice since I took a couple of extra days off work and I don’t need the coffee – although I did enjoy sitting, looking out of the window and sipping a cup. Very relaxing.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Press On - Stitched Shapes Framelits dies - Stitched Rectangle Dies

The 5 cups are a single stamp which was inked up in early espresso – had to be really, right? The poppy parade stampin’ write marker was an easy way to add a little color. I then cut out using the Rectangle Stitched dies and glued it onto the top layer. Next was a poppy parade mat and an early espresso card base. The sentiment obviously also comes from Press On and this time I used the Stitched Shapes Dies. The final touch was the poppy parade and gold ribbon which is part of the All The Trimmings ribbon combo pack.

I’ll be demonstrating this card on my Facebook Live next Sunday at 11am.
