The Right Triangle

Here’s the second card this week highlighting the Right Triangle stamp set. This time I’m using just the stamp set.

I used just two of Wednesday’s colors, just jade and gorgeous grape, for this card. Being unable to find my biggest block, I used the stamparatus to stamp the really large triangles. After that I stamped the little tulips up the diagonal. Since The Right Triangle set doesn’t have any sentiments, I again  reached Peaceful Moments. This time I used the Stitched so Sweetly dies.

I’ll be demonstrating the three cards made this week using The Right Triangle bundle on my usual Facebook live at 11am on Sunday. Come and join me and have a chance to win something merely by sharing my Live.

The Right Triangle bundle

The product that I’m showing this week is the Right Triangle bundle which is pretty much as you’d expect. There are different sizes of right angled triangles with various patterns.

Using a fun collection of colors, namely bermuda bay, just jade and gorgeous grape I stamped all of the patterns. Don’t you think that these bright colors look wonderful together? The dies are stitched which matches the stitched shapes framelits die that I used to cut out the sentiment. The sentiment comes from Peaceful Moments which I seem to be using a lot as my default set for sentiments.

You could also use The Right Triangle bundle to cut out triangles from DSP – I’ll have a go at that this week too.

In Good Taste DSP

This week I’m focusing on one of the new designer series papers in the new annual catalog, In Good Taste DSP and this is the second card that I’ve shared using it. It’s such a great photograph that it really feels as if the texture is real and on the paper!

This card has a smaller border than Wednesday’s – I like to change them around and see what difference it makes – compare this one with Wednesday and let me know which border you like best.

I used early espresso for the skinny mat and put it on a rococo rose card base. The sentiment again comes from Peaceful Moments (I think you’re going to see a lot of this stamp set in the coming year!) and it’s stamped in early espresso. I used the Stitched so sweetly dies to cut this out and then added some champagne rhinestones for a little sparkle.

I’ll be demonstrating this card and two others on Sunday at 11am EST on Facebook (MyElegantCards) and I’ll also share it to YouTube

In Good Taste DSP

This week I’m focusing on one of the new designer series papers in the new annual catalog, In Good Taste DSP. It’s great collection of 24 papers, 2 each of 12 double sided patterns. They are photos of wood, textiles and other textures; they easily create masculine or feminine projects.

This one features a piece of the DSP which I matted with night of navy and then adhered to a Misty Moonlight card base. I stamped the sentiment – from Peaceful Moments – in Misty Moonlight directly onto the DSP. I added a bow and enamel dots both in Misty Moonlight showcasing some of the in color collection.

Flowering Foils Specialty DSP

This beautiful metallic  Flowering Foils Specialty DSP is available for FREE until next Tuesday. If you place a $50 product order you can select it. And it’s gorgeous.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Flowering Foils Specialty DSP - Stitched so Sweetly dies, Peaceful Moments

This time I used sponge daubers to colour in the flower and make it the focal point of the card. I used some rococo rose, pear pizzazz and rich razzleberry. So there’s a rococo rose mat and I used the same colour for the sentiment – from Peaceful Moments – which I cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

It’s for my best friend whose birthday is on Friday. I think I’ll venture out an drop it on her porch. She’s crazy busy at the moment so I’m sure she won’t see this and spoil the surprise.
