Boughs & Blossoms Bundle

This week I’m focusing on the Boughs & Blossoms bundle. The bundle consists of a stamp set and a punch (157712, $34).

The DSP is from the Pattern Party DSP; you can buy this massive 48 piece of 12 by 12 inch paper with $18 of host rewards. One side of the DSP is in many colours and the reverse sides are all black and white. I do like to have black and white with a pop of colour, don’t you?

A piece of the DSP was matted in Polished Pink and then attached to a Whisper White card base. The flower was stamped in Polished Pink with the sentiment in tuxedo black. This was matted in Basic Black and attached to the card with dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card, along with 2 others using this bundle, on Sunday at 11am EST on Facebook. It will also be copied to YouTube. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the card precut for you to make the 3 cards.

Pattern Party DSP

As I’ve mentioned, the Pattern Party DSP is at the back of the annual catalogue and can only be bought with host rewards. The 48 piece 12 by 12 inch DSP (4 each of 12 double sided designs) is a $30 value but costs just $18 of your host rewards. I’m using it this week to increase my birthday card stash. Here I’m using one of the 12 black and white patterns.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Pattern Party DSP - Shaded Summer stamp set - Stitched Rectangle dies

Cut a piece of the Pattern Party DSP to 5 1/2 by 2 inches and mat it with Poppy Parade using my ruler tip. Add this to a thick white card base – Basic or Whisper, whatever you have.

Next stamp the sentiment from Shaded Summer in Poppy Parade. Cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and add it to the card using dimensionals.

Finally, use the dark Poppy Parade blend and colour a few basic rhinestones. Add them to the card; my preference is to use the Take Your Pick tool.

The Pattern Party DSP pack is excellent value and I suspect I’ll be returning to it soon. I’ve barely scraped the surface. The colors included are Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya, Petal Pink, Pool Party & Poppy Parade. On the reverse side all the designs are black and white.

I’ll be demonstrating this card and 2 others later on at my Facebook Live at 11am EST. Join me then at my mini class where, for a $25 order, I’ll send you the card pieces needed to make these cards. I also upload it to YouTube.

Pattern Party DSP

You may not recognise the Pattern Party DSP; it’s at the back of the annual catalogue and can only be bought with host rewards. Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Pattern Party DSP - Elegantly Said

Cut a piece of the Pattern Party DSP to 5 1/2 by 2 inches. I like to then hold it in place to decide where the sentiment needs to be stamped. I’m using the Shaded Summer stamp set for sentiments and this was stamped in Flirty Flamingo on the same color card base.

Next add the DSP – I like to use a ruler to ensure that the DSP is properly at the edge of the card. As long as the DSP is cut straight, it should also ensure that the DSP is placed perfectly horizontally. I’m the first to admit that it doesn’t always work – especially when you get your fingers stuck to the glue and you pull it out of whack!

Next stamp the focal point in versamark, sprinkle white embossing powder and heat. Mat the Flirty Flamingo with white and add to the card with dimensionals. Finally add a few gems – here I’ve used the Pastel Pearls.

If Flirty Flamingo isn’t your favourite color (it isn’t mine but I like it here) there are plenty of different colors in the Pattern Party DSP pack. The colors are Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya, Petal Pink, Pool Party & Poppy Parade. On the reverse side all the designs are black and white.

I’ll be demonstrating this card and 2 others on Sunday at my Facebook Live at 11am EST. Join me then at my mini class where, for a $25 order, I’ll send you the card pieces needed to make these cards. I also upload it to YouTube.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Pattern Party DSP - Layering Circles Framelits Dies

Here a piece of the Pattern Party is matted with Very Vanilla. I wrapped a piece of ribbon around before adhering it to a Crushed Curry card base.

The sentiment which comes from the Elegantly Said set was stamped in Crushed Curry on Very Vanilla. This was then die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits dies and added to a Crushed Curry scalloped circle. The scalloped circle was also die cut with the Layering Circles. The sentiment was added to the card with dimensionals.
