Pattern Party DSP

You may not recognise the Pattern Party DSP; it’s at the back of the annual catalogue and can only be bought with host rewards. The 48 piece 12 by 12 inch DSP (4 each of 12 double sided designs) is a $30 value but costs just $18 of your host rewards.

Here a piece of the Pattern Party is matted with Very Vanilla. I wrapped a piece of ribbon around before adhering it to a Crushed Curry card base.

The sentiment which comes from the Elegantly Said set was stamped in Crushed Curry on Very Vanilla. This was then die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits dies and added to a Crushed Curry scalloped circle. The scalloped circle was also die cut with the Layering Circles. The sentiment was added to the card with dimensionals.

I’ll be demonstrating this card and 2 others on Sunday at my Facebook Live at 11am EST. Join me then at my mini class where, for a $25 order, I’ll send you the card pieces needed to make thee cards. I also upload it to YouTube.

Shaded Summer

This week’s product is the Shaded Summer cling set (155783, $23). I don’t make sympathy cards very often but my best customer bought all that I had so I need to restock.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Shaded Summer - Peaceful Moments

I stamped the flower image in versamark and sprinkled on white embossing powder and heated. Next I used Melon Mambo and Old Olive watercolor pencils to color the image lightly. This was matted with Old Olive and added to a white card base.

Since Shaded Summer doesn’t have a sympathy sentiment, I grabbed this one from Peaceful Moments. It was stamped in Old Olive and die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits dies. It was a matted onto an Old Olive scallop cut with the same dies and popped up with dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card  plus 2 others at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST. Please join me.

Whimsy & Wonder DSP

I really love the Whimsy & Wonder DSP so I decided to do more cards using it. I’ve used this pattern before, but I just couldn’t resist using it again.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Whimsy & Wonder DSP - Layering Circles Framelits Dies - Stars are Shining

The Whimsy & Wonder DSP was cut to 5 1/2 by 2 inches and matted with Mint Macaron card stock cut an 1/8 inch wider. This was then added to a Whisper White card base. Next the sentiment was stamped in Mint Macaron and cut out using the Layering Circles Framelits dies. This was matted onto the slightly larger scalloped die cut out in Mint Macaron. The sentiment was added to the card, popped up with dimensionals and the final touch was a trio of basic rhinestones.

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am. Come and join me. Place an order of $25 and receive a free card kit to make the cards. Share my live and be put in the weekly raffle.

Stars are Shining

This week’s product is the Stars are Shining bundle again; I had so much fun I wanted to share some more.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Stars are Shining - Starlit Punch - Layering Circles Framelits Dies

First I punched out stars in silver foil using the Starlit Punch. After that I heat embossed the sentiment in silver embossing powder cutting it out with the Layering Circles Framelits dies and a slightly larger silver foil scalloped mat. Next I glued the two layers together and then positioned all the stars on the Misty Moonlight card base before gluing them down. The sentiment was popped up with dimensionals and finally a few basic rhinestones were added. I think that the Stars are Shining bundle will feature heavily in my personal cards this year.

I will demonstrate this card plus 2 others using this bundle on my regular Facebook live on Sunday at 11am EDT. You can find my live on Facebook or on YouTube using the links below.

Whimsy & Wonder DSP

This week I’m using the Whimsy & Wonder DSP which is estimated to be available to order this week.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Whimsy & Wonder DSP - Layering Circles Framelits dies

Here I used a Misty Moonlight card base and a piece of the almost self colored Misty Moonlight Whimsy & Wonder DSP. I then layered an iridescent foil Wonderful Snowflake (also from the Whimsy & Wonder suite) onto the DSP.  You get 24 snowflakes for only $6 (156340) – that’s a nice pile of easy cards. Finally I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight and cut it out with the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.

I’ll be making this card on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EDT – join me then. If you share my Live I’ll add you to the following week’s raffle.
