Dahlia Days

This week’s product of the week is the stamp set Dahlia Days. It isn’t in the upcoming catalog, so if you want it, grab it now.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Dahlia Days - Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder - Layering Circle Framelits Dies

This card is featuring the fourth incolor that will be retiring in May, namely  Bumble Bee. I stamped the image and then the sentiment on a circle die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits dies. Next I dry embossed a piece of Bumble Bee card using the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder. This was then glued to a white card base and the flower image was added too.

The sentiment circle was added with dimensionals and finally some of the Elegant Faceted Gems were added too.

I’ll be making this card, along with two others using the set, at my  Facebook Live tomorrow at 11am EDT. Come and join me, place an order of $25 to get what you need to make them for free. Also share the live and be entered into a raffle drawn next week.

Heart & Home Memories & More

Here’s my third card using the Heart & Home Memories & More card pack. It’s another quick and easy card.

This was one of the large 6 inch wide card from the Heart & Home Memories & More card pack. I cropped it to a pleasing size and then matted it in Garden Green and then put it on a Whisper White card base. Finally one of the stickers was added for the sentiment.

I made this quick and easy card along with two others on my Facebook Live earlier today at 11am EST. It was probably my shortest video ever since these cards make card construction really simple.

Heart & Home Memories & More

Here’s my second card using the Heart & Home Memories & More card pack. It’s another quick and easy card.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Heart & Home Memories & More card pack - Flowing Flowers - Layering Circles Framelits dies

I cut the  DSP in half even though there was a small sized piece of almost the same pattern. The reason for this was the small piece had the same pattern but reduced in size and I wanted it to be bolder. It also means that there’s a piece of DSP just begging to be made into another thank you card.

The DSP was matted with Night of Navy and added to a Whisper White card base. Finally the sentiment from Flowing Flowers was stamped in Night of Navy. Sometimes it’s handy to be slow putting things away – the Flowing Flowers set was still on my desk. It was die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits dies and matted with a night of navy scalloped circle.

I’ll be making this quick and easy card along with two others on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST.

Simply Marbleous DSP

The Simply Marbleous DSP is available to you for FREE when you spend $50 during Sale-a-bration. Here I’m using the more swirly side of the sheet. The colors are Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Simply Marbleous DSP - Peaceful Moments

This is a clean and  simple card; the DSP was cut to 3 3/4 by 5 inches and matted in white 1/8 inch larger. Next the beautiful White Frayed ribbon was added to the layer before putting it onto a Flirty Flamingo card base. The ribbon is beautiful – I didn’t expect to like it since I don’t like frayed or torn. But it’s not fraying, it’s just not a clean edge and the ribbon sparkles too.

Next the sentiment from Peaceful Moments was stamped in Flirty Flamingo and die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits dies. The matching scalloped die was used to cut a mat in Flirty Flamingo.

Since the ribbon is quite thick, I only added dimensionals at the top and bottom of the circles to keep the sentiment level. Finally I added some opal rounds.

I made this card along with 2 others also using the Simply Marbleous DSP at my Facebook Live yesterday. It was at 11am EST as usual – enjoy the replay.

UnChristmas Tidings DSP

If you’re anything like me, you’ve got Christmas paper that you didn’t use so this week I’m going to show you 3 cards made with the Christmas Tidings DSP that are not Christmassy. It’s a fun challenge.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Tidings of Christmas DSP - Peaceful Moments - Layering Circle dies

Here I’ve used the DSP to make a sympathy card, not what I’d expect to use this paper pack for! I cut a piece of the Tidings of Christmas DSP to 3 3/4 by 5 inches and matted it with Evening Evergreen. I knotted a piece of the Evening Evergreen chevron ribbon and added it before putting it on a Sahara Sand card base.

The sentiment, from the Peaceful Moments stamp set, is stamped in  Evening Evergreen on Sahara Sand. I die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits dies and matted with the slightly larger scalloped circle in Evening Evergreen. It was added to the card with dimensionals which were placed either side of the ribbon to keep it steady.

I’ll be making this on Sunday along with two others using this Tidings of Christmas DSP on my Facebook Live. As a reminder, it’s on Sunday at 11am EST. Come and join me for a break from the Christmas festivities. Share my live and I’ll add you to my raffle for the following week.
