Texture Chic Specialty DSP

The week I’m focusing on the Texture Chic Specialty DSP with a bit of help from the new set Charming Sentiments. This is a specialty DSP which means  that there is gold foil on one side of all the sheets. But here I’m using one of the sheets without gold foil.

This is a 2 inch wide strip of the Texture Chic specialty DSP matted onto a strip of Mango Melody. The matted DSP was attached to a white card base.

Next the sentiment was stamped in Mango Melody and die cut with the Layering Circles dies. A mat of Mango Melody was cut using the same die set and attached to the sentiment circle. This was then added to the card with dimensionals.

Finally some basic rhinestones were colored using the dark Mango Melody blend and added to the card.

I made this card plus 2 more using this DSP at my Facebook Live this morning at 11am eastern. If you share my live, I’ll add you to my raffle. I also upload the video to YouTube in case you prefer that medium.

Fern 3D Embossing Folder

This week I’m using the gorgeous Sun Prints Suite which consists of a stamp set, dies, DSP and a 3D embossing folder. This card is featuring the Fern 3D embossing folder.

This card is using the Fern 3D embossing folder which embossed a piece of Parakeet Party. Before adding this layer to the white card base, I added a bow using the Parakeet Party 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon.

The fern was stamped and then cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies and then adhered to the card. The sentiment, from Nature’s Prints, was stamped and cut out with the Layering Circles dies. The slightly larger scalloped die was used to make a mat for the sentiment.

After layering the sentiment onto the mat, it was attached to the card using dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card plus 2 others on my Facebook Live today at 11am Eastern. Share my live and be added to the raffle. Place a $25 order with me and get the cut cardstock needed to make the cards.

Nature’s Prints

This week I’m using the gorgeous Sun Prints Suite which consists of a stamp set, dies, DSP and a 3D embossing folder. My second card using the Sun Prints Suite is using just the Nature’s Prints stamp set.

This card is showcasing both the Nature’s Prints stamp set and one of the new in colors – Starry Sky. The is one of the Distinktive  stamp sets which gives lots of detail.

The main image was stamped in Starry Sky and then matted in the same color. This was attached to a white card base. Next the sentiment, also from Nature’s Prints was stamped in Starry Sky. It was die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits dies and was placed on a mat cut from the same dies. The sentiment was added to the card with dimensionals.

Finally the dark Starry Sky blend pen was used to color some basic rhinestones which were added to the card. I really love that we can make the basic rhinestones almost any colour.

I’ll be making this card plus 2 others on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am Eastern. Share my live and be added to the raffle. Place a $25 order with me and get the cut cardstock needed to make the cards.

New Horizons DSP

The product that I’m featuring this week is the New Horizons DSP with  sentiments from the On the Horizon stamp set. As I mentioned previously, I really love this DSP which will be retiring at the end of the month. So I wanted to show more of the designs – I’ll be showing one per day until Sunday.

Although the previous cards are really showcasing the beauty of the paper, I also wanted to show the versatility. So I cut a piece of a more restrained pattern to 5 1/2 by 2 inches and stamped the birds in Old Olive. It was then mounted onto the Old Olive card base.

The sentiment, also stamped in Old Olive comes from the Peaceful Moments sentiment set. It was cut out using the Layering Circles Framelits dies and mounted onto an Old Olive scallop. This was then attached to the card base using dimensionals.

I’ll be making a number of cards using this DSP at my Facebook Live mini class on Sunday at 11am as usual. I’ll also upload the video to YouTube. If you share my live, I’ll add you to my raffle.

In Good Taste DSP

This week I am focusing on the In Good Taste DSP which is retiring in a couple of days. It’s an extra large package (24 sheets) of pictures of walls, floors and textiles and is fun to use. I have a spare package and will send half to each of the first two people to place a $30 order with me.

I have previously posted cards using this DSP so if you search for In Good Taste you should find them in order to get more inspiration.

Today’s card is a similar layout to yesterday. A 3 3/4 by 5 inch piece of the DSP was matted with Blackberry Bliss.  Next it was attached to a white card base.

The sentiment comes from Peaceful Moments and was stamped with Blackberry Bliss. It was then cut out using the Layering Circles Framelits Next it was attached to the card base and finally some basic rhinestones were added.

I’ll be making this card plus 2 others on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. I also upload it to YouTube, links below.
