Today I’m using the Boughs of Holly DSP, again with the help of the Framed & Festive sentiment set. I really felt that this pattern of the DSP was too busy until it occurred to me to cut out just one of the bunches. This made ALL the difference.

The Boughs of Holly DSP pattern was trimmed to focus on just one bunch – it ended up at 2 7/8 by 3 1/8 inches. It was matted with a piece of Shaded Spruce cut to 1/8 inch larger.

The sentiment from Framed & Festive was stamped in Shaded Spruce directly onto the white card base using the matted DSP as a positioning guide. Next the matted DSP was added to the card base. 

Finally a few red Festive Pearls embellishments were added.

Today I’m using the Boughs of Holly DSP, again with the help of the Framed & Festive sentiment set.

 

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Boughs of Holly DSP - Framed & Festive

The Boughs of Holly DSP pattern was cut to 2 by 5 1/2 inches and added to a Cherry Cobbler card base.

The sentiment from Framed & Festive was heat embossed in gold onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler measuring 3 by 2 1/2 inches. This was then matted in gold foil measuring 3 1/8 by 2 5/8 inches and added to the card base.   

Finally a few gold embellishments were added.

Today I’m using the Boughs of Holly DSP again but this time with the help of the Framed & Festive sentiment set.

 

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Boughs of Holly DSP - Framed & Festive - Stitched Rectangle dies

The Boughs of Holly DSP pattern was cut to 2 by 5 1/2 inches and matted with a piece of Evening Evergreen sized 2 1/8 by 5 1/2. This was then added to a white card base.

The sentiment from Framed & Festive is stamped in Evening Evergreen onto a scrap of white and cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies. At the same time I cut out a scallop in Evening Evergreen and matted the white with it. This was added to the card with dimensionals.

For a final touch, I added some of the silver Festive Pearls.

Framed and Festive

Framed and Festive is an 8 piece sentiment stamp set which I’m pairing with my current favourite DSP, Lights Aglow.

This is another quick and simple card. Cut the DSP to 2 by 5 1/2 inches and use either a ruler or the stamparatus to ensure your edges are level and glue the DSP to the card base. Stamp the sentiment, from the Framed & Festive set, in Cherry Cobbler onto a 2 1/8 by 2 5/8 inch piece of Very Vanilla. Mat this with a 2 1/4 by 2 3/4 inches piece of Cherry Cobbler and add to the card with dimensionals.

Finally add a few gold Festive Pearls embellishments.

Framed and Festive is an 8 piece sentiment stamp set which I’m pairing with my current favourite Lights Aglow Specialty DSP.

This is a quick and simple card. Cut the DSP to 3 3/4 by 5 inches and the gold foil to 3 7/8 by 5 1/8 inches and mat the DSP with the foil. Add this to an Evening Evergreen card base. 

The sentiment is from the Framed & Festive set and heat embossed in gold embossing powder on an Evening Evergreen scrap. After die cutting with the Stitched Rectangle dies it was added to the card with dimensionals.
