I liked the powder pink version of this card so much that I wanted to try out a few other cardbase colours. Here’s mango melody with a sentiment from Hello Cupcake stamped in the same colour ink.
Here’s mint macaron with the gold embossed sentiment from Part of my story. I made the frame bigger since it felt like the sentiment needed more space. I added a piece of gold foil behind the sentiment cut out using the oval dies.
The Delightfully Detailed laser cut DSP has 8 sheets, 4 each of 2 designs. One of the designs has 6 panels and I cut these out (carefully cutting off the other strips so that I can use them later). I added a couple of dots of multipurpose glue to hold it in place on the powder pink cardbase and then added a frame cut with the rectangular stitched framelits dies (LOVE these – $35 for 13 double stitched rectangles) using very vanilla. I added a good amount of snail to the back of the frame and that holds the DSP nicely in place. All that was left was to stamp the sentiment from Part of my story (a Saleabration offering, that isn’t available anymore but you could use any sentiment) and emboss in gold.
We loved this card so much that I made a few more during the class using different panels from the DSP.
Aren’t they lovely and so easy to make a number quite easily. So the question is which do you like the best? Or do you prefer the powder pink one from earlier?
