Colorful Seasons is an incredibly versatile bundle which is carrying over, but the 10% saving is not. It really is perfect to use for every season.
Here’s one of my favourite Christmas cards that I made last year in tranquil tide with gold heat embossing and die cuts from this bundle.
Here’s a reminder – just a simple stamped card showcasing a wonderful sentiment. The little mat of berry burst interrupting all the whisper white makes for a supremely elegant card in my opinion.
and here’s some advice for all of us in another simply stamped card. I like how the colored card base (berry burst) makes this card look so different from the one above.
Here’s a Stampin’ Up! photo showing how you can use this all year around
As you can see, Colorful Seasons is a very versatile bundle; grab it now before you lose the 10% saving.

After forgetting to use tranquil tide yesterday, I decided to make it the star of the show today. And with an upcoming Christmas card class on my mind, I combined the two to produce what I think is a really elegant Christmas card featuring the Seasonal Layers Thinlits dies and its matching stamp set, Colorful Seasons.
I cut out one of the snowflakes on gold foil and then remembered my multipurpose adhesive sheets – so I adhered some of the sheet behind the foil and cut out three more. Colorful Seasons is an extremely versatile set covering all the seasons, but there’s no Christmas greeting so I turned to one of my current favourite sets, Star of Light for my greeting. I placed my die cut snowflakes where I wanted them but didn’t glue them down in case anything went wrong with my heat embossing. And then stamped my greeting in versamark and also the smaller snowflakes from Colorful Seasons. Only once my gold heat embossing went off without a hitch, did I peel the backing off the gold foil snowflakes and put them in place on my tranquil tide layer. I’d considered a gold foil border for the layer but it was just too much and all the card needed was to be put onto a tranquil tide base.
I can see that the beautiful snowflake from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies is likely to feature on a number of my Christmas cards this year. It’s beautiful and with the multipurpose adhesive sheets, easy to handle. I did find that a couple of passes through the big shot to be helpful when cutting it out though.

Here’s a simple card that I made for my launch party featuring a new stamp set, Colorful Seasons and one of the next in colours, Berry Burst. I’m having a hard time deciding on my favourite new colour! I think it’s whichever one I’m using at the time.
I stamped the tree branches in crumb cake a few times at different angles and then added the flowers on top with an extra stamp of flowers in the corner so that it looks like one tree. I added the sentiment also from Colorful Seasons (there are some really good ones in this set) and a very skinny mat of berry burst to give a frame. I love the large white border.

Today’s card showcases the new set Colorful Seasons and it has a message for all of us so excited about the new catalog!
Fun card, right? I used berry burst and crumb cake for the stamping and the same colors for the matting and the card base. Easy and effective.
One tip: when using photopolymer stamps with a large area of ink, stamp using the stampin’ pierce mat. It gives a cushion that is missing with a photopolymer stamp and gives a better image. I cut my grid paper into quarters so that I have a little piece on top of my pierce mat. I can’t really stamp without the lines on the grid paper to help me line things up!
I put in my order yesterday before noon because the site was available a little early and it was shipped yesterday. So excited! And it’s a big order because I took advantage of the extra $35 of stampin’ rewards for an order of $350 or me. Can’t wait for it to get here with all my new awesome goodies! Oh yes, just breathe!
