Tiny Christmas Trees dies

Here’s my third card using the Tiny Christmas Trees dies.

So I used the Tiny Christmas Trees dies on a piece of Very Vanilla measuring 4 by 5 1/4. It was then added to a Very Vanilla card base.

I took some of the Tiny Trees and coloured them using the blends. I pulled out a bunch of the greens – Parakeet Party, Old Olive, Pretty Peacock and Shaded Spruce. I coloured a cutout tree in each of these colors and added a Poppy Parade for a pop of color.

The sentiment from Christmas Classics was stamped in Poppy Parade and die cut using the Stylish Shapes dies and added to the card. Then using multipurpose glue, I added the coloured trees along with one in Granny Apple Green foil.

I added a gold embellishment from the Festive Pearls to each tree.

Tiny Christmas Trees dies

This week I’m using the Tiny Christmas Trees dies and the Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green foil sheets. This was incredibly difficult to photograph since the melon mambo foil looked different from different angles. This was the best I could get and it was from my iPhone rather than my Nikon.

So I used the Tiny Christmas Trees dies on a piece of Very Vanilla measuring 3 1/2 by 4 1/2. It was matted onto a piece of the Melon Mambo foil measuring 3 3/4 by 4 3/4 and then added to a Very Vanilla card base.

The sentiment from Christmas Classics was stamped in Melon Mambo, trimmed and added to the card. Some of the Iridescent Adhesive backed discs were added.

Shining Brightly Specialty DSP

This week I’m using the rather spectacular Shining Brightly Specialty DSP and today I’m using one of the Very Vanilla patterns.

The Shining Brightly Specialty DSP was cut to 5 1/2 by 2 inches. The gold foil was cut to 5 1/2 by 2 1/4. The DSP was matted with the foil and added to a Very Vanilla card base.

The sentiment, from the Christmas Classics stamp set, was heat embossed in gold on a piece of Very Vanilla. This was cut using the Stylish Shapes dies (the middle square one). Finally a few Brushed Metallic Adhesive backed dots were added.

Shining Brightly Specialty DSP

This week I’m using the rather spectacular Shining Brightly Specialty DSP.

The Shining Brightly Specialty DSP was cut to 5 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches. The gold foil was cut to 5 1/2 by 3 3/4. The DSP and foil were put together with the gold foil excess showing on the left hand side. This was then added to a Night of Navy card base is that again only showing the left hand side. To make it clear, all three pieces of card are together at the right hand side.

The sentiment, from the Christmas Classics stamp set, was heat embossed in gold on a piece of Night of Navy. Finally a few Brushed Metallic Adhesive backed dots were added.
