Continuing my quest to use up DSP, I pulled out the This Christmas DSP paper and found the wonderful music paper that I’d forgotten about. This seemed to pair perfectly with Suite Seasons.
So I cut the DSP to a usual layer size ( 1/4 inch smaller than the card) and made my black layer just a smidge larger to border it. I glued this to a real red card base wrapping a piece of the gold satin ribbon around it as I did so. Next I made numeous greetings from Suite Seasons – first in real red, then I embossed it in gold. Unfortunately on whisper white when the DSP was vanilla. So I have a whisper white and gold greeting to play with later! I cut out a scalloped mat using the Layering Ovals framelits and popped this up on dimensionals.
