Here’s another of the series of cards using a sixth of a piece of the Painted Blooms paper. It’s merely mounted on a rose red card base.
I decided that it needs no added sentiment since it would either be in an odd place and feel wrong or it would cover up the two large flowers which are the focal point. And I like the space on this one. It reminds me that when I used to buy cards, I never went for those with sentiments on! The envelope flap is decorated with a piece of the backgrounds DSP in rose red.
It’s a good thing that it’s a simple card today – I’ve spent time today poring over the new catalogue and deciding what to get in my preorder that I can put in at midnight. Well, midnight mountain time so I think it will be in the morning!
See you tomorrow,
Liz
