Whimsical Trees bundle

This week I’m using the Whimsical Trees bundle which consists of the Whimsical Trees stamp set and the Christmas Trees dies. I used this bundle for this month’s Mail & Make and I had so many other ideas that I needed to design more cards.

This card actually only uses the Whimsical Trees stamp set. I stamped the tree first in Mossy Meadow and then stamped the decorations in Real Red. The sentiment which comes from the Whimsical Trees stamp set was also stamped in Real Red. This was then layered onto a thin mat of Mossy Meadow and then places on a Whisper White card base. The finishing touch was the Real Red double stitched satin ribbon added with a glue dot.

I’ll be demonstrating this card and 2 others on Sunday at 11am on my Facebook Live. Do join me.

Delicate Dahlias

Here’s the third card using the free Sale-a-bration item, Delicate Dahlias which requires an order of $100 to get as a freebie. Half of the images are in Stampin’ Up!’s Distinktive style and half are line drawings. Here I’m using the line style stamps.

For this card I inked up the dahlia stamp in Fresh Freesia. Next I added the leaves in Mossy Meadow. stamping off once on scrap  paper before stamping. The sentiment is full strength Mossy Meadow. The layer was matted with Mossy Meadow and then mounted on a Whisper White card base.

I showed how I made this and 2 others on my 11am Facebook Live this morning. I also copy my videos to YouTube.

Delicate Dahlias

This week I’m making cards with the free Sale-a-bration item, Delicate Dahlias which is free with a $100 order.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Delicate Dahlias - Stitched Rectangle dies

For this card I inked up the leaf stamp in Mossy Meadow and the small flower in Polished Pink and stamped up the side of a whisper white layer. I then inked the small leaf in Mossy Meadow but stamped off once on scrap paper before adding to the layer. The layer was then added to a Polished Pink card base. Next the sentiment was stamped in Polished Pink and cut out with the Stitched Rectangle dies. It was popped up with dimensionals.

I’ll be showing you how I made this, along with 2 other cards, on Sunday at 11am on my Facebook Live.

Delicate Dahlias

This week’s product is the free Sale-a-bration item, Delicate Dahlias which requires an order of $100 to get as a freebie. Half of the images are in Stampin’ Up!’s Distinktive style and half are line drawings.

For this card I inked up the stamp in Mango Melody and stamped off once on scrap  paper before stamping. This was then matted with more Mango Melody. Before attaching the matted layer to the whisper white card base, I added the sentiment, again in Mango Melody, just in case. After adhering the matted dahlia, I added some Wink of Stella lightly to add glimmer but not move the ink around.

I’ll be showing you how I made this on Sunday at 11am on my Facebook Live.
