This week’s product is the Shaded Summer cling set (155783, $23). There’s a small sprig stamp and I decided to make a border with it around my die cut.
The first thing to do is to draw around the inside of the die cut so that you know where to stamp. Then stamp the sprig in Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent being careful not to simply alternate the colors.
Stamp the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and die cut using the Stitched so Sweetly dies. Attach to the card with dimensionals. Colour some basic rhinestones with the dark Cherry Cobbler blend and add them to the card.
If you don’t need a friend card – but who doesn’t? – there are another 6 sentiments to choose from in the Shaded Summer stamp set.
I’ll be making this card plus 2 others at my Facebook Live later on today at 11am EST. Please join me. Share my live and be put into my weekly raffle.

This week’s product is the Shaded Summer cling set (155783, $23). I rather liked coloring Wednesday’s card after heat embossing in white and thought I’d heat emboss again. This time though, I used the card stock to color for me.
First I stamped the flower image from Shaded Summer set in versamark on Polished Pink. Next I added white embossing powder and heated. I really like how the image pops on the pink.
The sentiment from Shaded Summer was stamped in Polished Pink directly onto the card base. The flower image was matted in white and then added to the card base.
The final touch was some basic rhinestones that were first colored with the dark Polished Pink blend.

This week’s product is the Shaded Summer cling set (155783, $23). I don’t make sympathy cards very often but my best customer bought all that I had so I need to restock.
I stamped the flower image in versamark and sprinkled on white embossing powder and heated. Next I used Melon Mambo and Old Olive watercolor pencils to color the image lightly. This was matted with Old Olive and added to a white card base.
Since Shaded Summer doesn’t have a sympathy sentiment, I grabbed this one from Peaceful Moments. It was stamped in Old Olive and die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits dies. It was a matted onto an Old Olive scallop cut with the same dies and popped up with dimensionals.

I wanted to play with the “splotch” stamp today and then realized that some Gilded Leafing would really set off the card. So although I intended to use my Artistic Dies this week, this card doesn’t use them.
The splodge was stamped in Merry Merlot to almost cover the card layer. Once I was sure it was dry, I added the multipurpose glue and Gilded Leafing, rubbing it in with my finger.
This layer was then added to a Merry Merlot Card base. All that remained was to stamp the sentiment (from Artistically Inked) in Merry Merlot. It was die cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies and popped up with dimensionals.
I held a mini card class with this card and 2 others on Sunday on Facebook at 11am. I also uploaded it to YouTube. Can’t believe that I forgot to publish this on Sunday.
