Dainty Flowers DSP

The Dainty Flowers DSP is a pack of paper you can get for free from the Saleabration brochure with a $50 product order. Stampin’ Up! have outdone themselves on this pack of paper.

The Dainty Flowers DSP was cut to 5 1/2 by 3 1/4 with the Rich Razzleberry mat cut to 5 1/2 by 3 1/2. They were layered together leaving a 1/4 inch showing of the Rich Razzleberry using the Stamparatus for ease of lining them up. This layer was then added to a white card base – again using the Stamparatus to ensure the open side of the card was lined up.

Next the sentiment from the Dainty Delight set was stamped in Rich Razzleberry and cut out with the Stitched Rectangle dies. It was then added to the card using dimensionals. Finally some Pastel Pearls were added to the card.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Dainty Flowers DSP

The Dainty Flowers DSP is a pack of paper you can get for free from the Saleabration brochure with a $50 product order. Normally, if I can see me using around half of the patterns, I get the DSP (unless one or two are just irresistible) but this pack I can see using all but two!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Dainty Flowers DSP

This is a very simple card – I cut a 5 1/4 by 4 inch piece of the Dainty Flowers DSP. I wanted to get all of the orange/yellow flowers so I sliced the paper to get all of them. Next I cut a little off the right hand side to make the DSP 4 inches wide.

This was added to a Mossy Meadow card base. I contemplated a sentiment or some embellishments but I finally decided that this would be too much and left it unadorned. Let me know what you think about that decision.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Rain or Shine Specialty DSP

Here’s another card that doesn’t have the glossy coating – I think I’ll have to do another week sometime using more of the glossy coating on the Rain of Shine Specialty DSP.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Rain or Shine Specialty DSP - Happiness Abounds

The Rain or Shine Specialty DSP was cut to 3 by 2 inches and matted with a piece of white 1/8 inch larger. The matted pattern was used to help position the sentiment, from Happiness Abounds, which was heat embossed in gold.  It was then added to a Mango Melody card base.

To finish off the card, I added a few Elegant Faceted Gems.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this DSP at my Facebook Live today at 11am eastern. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

See you on Wednesday,

Rain or Shine Specialty DSP

First, I want to wish my sister Caro a very Happy Birthday.

Now onto today’s card:This week I’m using the lovely Rain or Shine Specialty DSP. The specialty part is due to a glossy coating on some of the sheets – not this pattern though. Actually the upper part of the DSP that I used on Wednesday does have the glossy coating on the clouds although it’s really hard to photograph.

The Rain or Shine Specialty DSP was cut to 3 3/4 by 5 inches and matted with a 3 7/8 by 5 1/8 inch piece of white, It was then added to a Balmy Blue card base. The sentiment is from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and of course stamped in Balmy Blue. It was then cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies and added to the card with dimensionals.

To finish off the card, I added a few iridescent pearl basic jewels.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this DSP at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Rain or Shine Specialty DSP

This week I’m using the lovely Rain or Shine Specialty DSP. The specialty part is due to a glossy coating on some of the sheets – not this pattern though.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Rain or Shine Specialty DSP - Stitched Rectangle Dies - Splendid Thoughts

The Rain or Shine Specialty DSP was cut to 4 by 5 1/4 inches and added to an Old Olive card base. The sentiment is from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set and stamped in Old Olive. It was then cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies and added to the card with dimensionals.

To finish off the card, I used the Dark Old Olive blends to color a few basic rhinestones and added them.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this DSP at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.
