Here’s the fourth incolor – Fresh Freesia; in case you’re wondering, it’s reverse alphabetic order! Evening Evergreen tomorrow.
This little leaf seemed perfect for this delicate incolor – Fresh Freesia.
As on the cards already shown this week, I used the Stitched Leaves dies to cut out the leaf shape and then matted it on Very Vanilla. I carefully stamped the sentiment which comes from Love of Leaves in Fresh Freesia. A 2 inch deep strip of the 2021-2023 incolor 6 by 6 paper was added to the Fresh Freesia card base and then the matted piece was added on top. The new open weave 3/8 inch ribbon is really beautiful in all the colors; it was added with a glue dot and then a few of the 2021-2023 in color jewels were added.
I’m really happy with all the new incolors; today I think Fresh Freesia is my favourite but tomorrow that will probably change to Evening Evergreen. I think it will be like opera – my favourite is usually the one I’ve just seen!
Join me tomorrow on my Facebook Live at 11am EDT and see in person how I made these cards. Who knows, I might remember to put the DSP strip on all 5 cards!
