This week I’m showcasing this month’s Paper Pumpkin – Celebrating in Color.  Today I’m presenting the Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky cards. Stampin’ Up! included some of the new mat dots in the kit – I LOVE them!

The first card is the Sweet Sorbet one and I did it more or less as instructed. The ink spot in the kit is Basic Grey. Those that watch my Facebook Lives know my opinion of grey so they won’t be surprised that I changed to Sweet Sorbet for the sentiment. I then added 3 Sweet Sorbet dots rather than the mixture shown in the instructions.

The second card is the Orchid Oasis one and the kit makes it very simple. Just pop out the sentiment circle from the background and stamp the sentiment. Again, I rejected the grey and used Orchid Oasis and then popped the sentiment circle up with dimensional. I added a few of the same colored mat dots too.

Here is the Starry Sky card, also a cinch to make; attach the background to the card and pop up the sentiment with dimensionals. This was the last card that I made and I decided to try a selection of the dots.

I’ll share the other two colors tomorrow and will show all 5 at my Facebook Live at 11am Eastern on Sunday. I’ll also show some alternatives.
