In the Moment

This week I’m using the stamp set In the Moment (157987, $24). It has three main images which are line art and 3 sentiments.

I saw a presenter at onstage doing white embossing with this set; sadly I don’t have her name. 

I decided to do a third white heat embossing, this time on a Misty Moonlight layer. This was mounted onto white card. Then I cut another piece of Misty Moonlight 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 to cover the entire card. It was then dry embossed using the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder.

I made this card plus two others using In The Moment at my Facebook Live this morning. See it on Facebook or on my YouTube channel.

Waves of Inspiration

This week I’m using the Waves of the Ocean suite which will be featured in the upcoming annual catalog. But it’s available now. It’s absolutely gorgeous. The collection consists of a stamp set, dies, DSP, 6 sheets of foil and colored rhinestones (161797 $79.25)

 A piece of the beautiful Waves of the Ocean DSP  was attached to a Calypso Coral card base with the white frayed ribbon added first. The focal point is stamped in Soft Suede and matted on Calypso Coral. It was then added to the card base using dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card plus two others at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST.  The live is also uploaded to YouTube.

Heart & Home Memories & More

The Memories & More card packs are really versatile. You can make cards or scrapbook pages really easily. This week I’m using the Heart & Home Memories & More card pack and the matching envelopes too.

Here I used a card from the Heart & Home Memories & More card pack and glued it to the matching sized card base. I added a trio of the Opal Rounds in 2 sizes and that was it! Quick and very easy. 

The plain side of the card base was used so I’ll have to add a liner to the inside. I always add a piece of card to the inside so that the card is a bit more sturdy.

Daffodil Afternoon DSP

The product of the week is the Daffodil Daydream bundle (157795). At $54.75 it reaches the threshold to claim a free Sale-a-bration item. I recommend the Daffodil Afternoon DSP which I’m using for this very simple card.

I cut the Daffodil Afternoon DSP to 5 1/4 by 4 inches and adhered it to a Pear Pizzazz card base. The mixture of the three greens – Pear Pizzazz, Evening Evergreen and Mossy Meadow is really rich. I contemplated a sentiment but didn’t want to mask any of the beautiful paper. Also this card could be used for many things so I didn’t want to restrict it!

The current Sale-a-bration is running now and ends on 28th February. Since the available selection can get a little sparse towards the end of the time period, early ordering is recommended.

I’ll be making this card plus 2 others at my Live on Sunday at 11am EST. Come and join me and for an order of $25 you get the supplies to make this mini class.

UnChristmas Tidings DSP

If you’re anything like me, you’ve got Christmas paper that you didn’t use so I’m going to show you 3 cards made with the Christmas Tidings DSP that are not Christmassy.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Tidings of Christmas DSP - Lovely Moments

Here I cut a piece of the Tidings of Christmas DSP and attached it to a Cherry Cobbler card base. Next I stamped the flower from the Lovely Moments set in Cherry Cobbler. After that it was matted with Cherry Cobbler and added to the card with dimensionals. And that’s it, a card using the Tidings of Christmas DSP and it’s not a Christmas card!

I’ll be making this on Sunday along with two others using this non Tidings of Christmas DSP on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST. Come and join me for a break from the Christmas festivities and if you share my live, I’ll add you to my raffle for the following week.
