Hues of Happiness DSP

This week’s product of the week is Happiness Abounds and I’ve also pulled in some of the Hues of Happiness DSP.

This is a very simple card. I cut a piece of the Hues of Happiness DSP and took my time deciding which side to use. This paper is really fun.

Since the DSP was cut at 4 by 5 1/4 all it needed was to be put onto a card base. I used Granny Apple green for the card base to match some of the leaves.

I believe that this is the first time I’ve used the smallest die from the Stitched Rectangle dies. It really matches the sentiment, stamped in Granny Apple Green perfectly. Finally the sentiment strip was attached using dimensionals.

I made this card plus two others using the Happiness Abounds set on my Facebook Live this morning. Take a look at the replay or watch on YouTube. If you share my live, I’ll add you to next week’s raffle.

Happiness Abounds

This week’s product of the week is Happiness Abounds which I’ve paired with the 2022-2024 in color glimmer paper.

In fact, all the colour on this card is Sweet Sorbet, one of the new 2022-2024 in colors. I cut out a 2 inch deep piece of the glimmer paper and attached it to a white card base. Next I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card base. The flower was stamped in and matted with Sweet Sorbet and attached with dimensionals.

Finally I coloured some basic rhinestones using the dark Sweet Sorbet blend and added them to the card.

I’ll be making this card plus two others using the Happiness Abounds set on my Facebook Live on Sunday 11am Eastern. Join me or watch the replay or watch on YouTube.

New Horizons DSP

The product that I’m featuring this week is the On The Horizon suite. I have given in and am featuring more of the New Horizons DSP with just the sentiments from the On the Horizon stamp set. Clearly this suite needs more than a single week to do it justice. I really love this piece of the DSP – I couldn’t add a mat since that would make the DSP smaller and I couldn’t bear to cut it.

Again the New Horizons DSP was cut to 5 1/4 by 4 inches. The sentiment, from On the Horizon was stamped in Blackberry Bliss. I didn’t want to stamp it on a die cut since that would hide too much of the paper.

Finally this was added to a Blackberry Bliss card base.

I’ll be making this card plus two others at my Facebook Live mini class on Sunday at 11am as usual. I’ll also upload the video to YouTube.

New Horizons DSP

The product that I’m featuring this week is the On The Horizon suite. As I suspected, here’s another card featuring the New Horizons DSP. This designer paper is absolutely glorious and insisted on being used!

This is another very simple card. As before, the New Horizons DSP was cut to 5 1/4 by 4 inches. The DSP was then stamped with the birds in Night of Navy in order to make them more silhouetted. Next the DSP was mounted on a Misty Moonlight card base.

Finally a sentiment from On the Horizon set was stamped in Evening Evergreen. It was die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and popped up with dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card plus two others at my Facebook Live mini class on Sunday at 11am as usual. I’ll also upload the video to YouTube. Place an order of $25 or more to receive the card stock you’d need to make these cards.

On the Horizon

The product that I’m featuring this week is the On The Horizon suite. At least, that’s the plan. The New Horizons DSP is so gorgeous I think I’ll have a hard time using much else!

This is one of the simplest cards I’ve made lately, using a piece of the 6 by 6 inch DSP down to 5 1/4 by 4 inches. Some of the greenery was sacrificed in order to get more of the glorious sunset. Next a sentiment from On the Horizon set was stamped in Evening Evergreen. Finally this was added to an Evening Evergreen card base.

I’ll be making this card plus two others at my Facebook Live mini class on Sunday at 11am as usual. I’ll also upload the video to YouTube.
