Dinoroar Suite Design Board

My good friend Selene Kempton shared the design boards that she’d made with me before she went off on the Stampin’ Up! incentive trip. And I was inspired to make some of them myself. My product of the week on FB is the Dinoroar Suite so I thought I’d share the design board that I made. It folds up for easy transportation.

Dinoroar Suite Design Board

It features all of the pieces of the suite including the fact that the Dino Dies actually cut out dinosaurs from the designer series paper. Even better, there was a single code to input to order one each of all of these products and it included the 10% off bundle price for the dies and stamps. It’s 152194 and costs $75.75. That will earn you a $5 bonus coupon for next month AND 14 tutorials from me.

I’m a member of the Talented Tutorial Team and each month the 14 of us create a bundle of 14 tutorials. For every $10 in product that you order through me, I’ll send you one of them. If you spend $50, I’ll send you all 14.

Daisy Lane Ferns

I mentioned that I was finding it hard to stop using Daisy Lane – here’s another example this time using the fern stamp.

Stampin' Up! Daisy Lane

I cut a 2 inch strip of whisper white and then inked up the fern stamp in granny apple green. Using a sponge dauber, I added a little shaded spruce onto the stamp before stamping onto the whisper white. I cleaned the darker green off the stamp and repeated.

Next I matted the white strip with a piece of shaded spruce cut at 2 1/8 inches wide to give a very skinny border and mounted that onto a granny apple green card. I seem to be stuck on granny apple green at the moment – I think it’s to help me get over missing lemon lime twist!

The sentiment was stamped in shaded spruce and cut out with my favourite stitched shapes dies and then popped up with stampin’ dimensionals.

I’m a member of the Talented Tutorial Team and each month the 14 of us create a bundle of 14 tutorials – mine for next month uses granny apple green!!. For every $10 in product that you order through me, I’ll send you one of them. If you spend $50, I’ll send you all 14.

See a Silhouette DSP

I’ve been playing some more with the See a Silhouette DSP – it makes gorgeous cards.

See a Silhouette DSP

This piece of DSP is slightly larger than the previous one and I again matted it with mossy meadow. It looked good on a horizontal card due to the larger size.  I stamped another of the sentiments from the Silhouette Scenes stamp set in poppy parade and then cut it out with the stitched shapes framelits dies. A little bow in the poppy parade ribbon and it was done.

See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper

Today I’m featuring what is probably my favourite designer series paper – the See a Silhouette DSP (149443). For just $11.50 you get 2 sheets of each of 6 double sized 12 by 12 paper. And it’s so vibrant, it just makes you smile!

Silhouette Scenes

I cut the See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper to 2 7/8 by 3 1/4 inches and some mossy meadow to 3 by 3 3/8 inches and then glued them together to produce a thin border around the DSP. It looks so finished that way.

I then took a piece of the thick whisper white, scored it at 4 1/4 and then cut it in half at 5 1/2 producing two card bases. Always handy to have them ready to go. The Thoreau quote is from the new set Silhouette Scenes (149223) and was stamped in mossy meadow. There’s also a bundle with the dies which saves you 10% over buying both separately (151058) and is a no brainer if you like to add words – the dies have “inspire”, “adventure” and “forever”.

All that was left was to attach the matted DSP to the card base and I was done. More #simplestamping.

Daisy Lane

A quick and simple – and elegant of course – card featuring the Daisy Lane stamp set. It is bundled with a matching punch but I chose to just stamp here.

Daisy Lane stamp set

I used crushed curry and stamped the last daisy images down the side of a piece of whisper white. The set has a number of awesome sentiments in a great typeface. Here I chose the big Smile and cut it out with my favourite stitched shapes framelits dies and then added this to a crushed curry card base. Then I applied the gorgeous fuzzy Perennial Essence floral centres. You get 18 of these self adhesive embellishments for only $6 (149442). The Daisy Lane stamp set (149325) is $23 but the bundle with the medium daisy punch is only $35 (151118) which saves you $5 – that gets you the embellishments for a dollar!

Hope you enjoyed this quick and simple card.

For every $10 you spend on product, I’ll send you a free tutorial, but if you spend $50, I’ll send you all 14 of this month’s tutorials showcasing new suites.
