Artistically Inked Bundle

This week, having finally found my Artistic Dies, I am using the whole Artistically Inked bundle. As with the previous card, the Wink of Stella doesn’t photograph well but it’s on the Polished Pink flowers.

Here’s another clean and simple thank you card using the Artistically Inked Bundle. I die cut the main image in Evening Evergreen and then attached it to a Very Vanilla layer with the multipurpose liquid glue.

As a reminder: I squeeze out some glue onto a piece of scrap and then use the glue tip to pick up a little at a time. This means there’s no danger of squeezing the container and having a large blob of ink fall onto your project.

Next I stamped the trio of flowers in Polished Pink and then added a little Wink of Stella. Just enough to add sparkle but not working so hard as to move any ink. This was then added to an Evening Evergreen card base and basic rhinestones were added.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment, from Artistically Inked, in Evening Evergreen and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle dies. It was added to the card using dimensionals.

I’ll be holding a mini card class with this card and 2 others on Sunday on Facebook at 11am. Join me there.

Artistically Inked

I’ve still had no luck finding the dies, so when I find them, I’ll do another week using the bundle! Not that that would be a hardship. I really love this suite.

I started by stamping the large flower in Polished Pink a few times up the  whisper white card base. Next I added some of the double leaves in Evening Evergreen and then the 3 flowers in Pacific Point. The single leaves were stamped in Evening Evergreen, stamped off once. Then I filled in a few gaps with the dots stamped in Polished Pink. The sentiment is stamped in Pacific Point and die cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies and popped up with dimensionals.

I’ll be showing this card plus 2 others at my Facebook live on Sunday at 11am EDT.

Artistically Inked

This week’s product is the Artistically Inked stamp set. I meant to showcase the bundle (155456, $53), but I am struggling to find my matching dies. Happily the search has resulted in significant tidying so there’s a silver lining.

I layered a piece of the Expressions in Ink specialty DSP onto my whisper white card base and added the sentiment in Evening Evergreen. After that the leaf and flower were stamped, the flower in Polished Pink. This was when I discovered I’d lost my dies so I cut them out with my snips. The leaves were glued to a piece of whisper white matted in gold foil and the flower was added with dimensionals. Finally the gold foiled layer was added to the card base.

I’ll be showing this card plus 2 others at my Facebook live on Sunday at 11am EDT.

Celebrate with Flowers

This week’s product is the Celebrate with Flowers stamp set and here I paired it with the Stitched so Sweetly dies.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Celebrate with Flowers - Stitched so Sweetly dies

Apparently I’m in a Very Vanilla kind of mood this week. This time I paired it with Soft Succulent and Fresh Freesia.  The first thing to do is to stamp the sentiment and die cut it using Stitched so Sweetly. Then draw around the inside of the die to show where it will be positioned. Next stamp the leaves around the drawn outline taking care not to place the stalks on the other side of the outline. Next add a few dragonflies and adhere to a Soft Succulent card base. Use dimensionals to add the sentiment – making sure to cover the lines or simply erase them if needed. Finally add a few pastel pearls to the card.

I’ll be demonstrating this card, along with a couple of others, on Sunday at 11am EDT on my Facebook live as usual.

Bamboo Beauty

This week I’m working with the Bamboo Beauty stamp set (155478, $21). It’s really good for clean and simple cards. In fact today I went really simple and added no sentiment. It just didn’t seem to need one and in fact, I thought that adding one would spoil the card.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Bamboo Beauty

First I stamped the two leafy stamps on Merry Merlot using Versamark and then heat embossed in gold. This was then matted with gold foil and placed on a Merry Merlot card base. And that’s it! Very simple and very effective. And if you need to add a sentiment I suggest a shape in Merry Merlot heat embossed in gold.

I’ll be showing how to make this card and two others using Bamboo Beauty later on at my live at 11am EDT. Share my video and be put in the raffle for a little prize.
