Snowflake Splendor DSP

This week’s product is the Snowflake Splendor DSP (153512); it contains really beautiful papers. And it’s one of the papers on sale this month so instead of $11.50 it’s $9.78.

Here I used the reverse side of yesterday’s piece of Snowflake Splendor DSP. It’s really hard to choose which is the more gorgeous. Which do you prefer?

Here I applied my 2 inch wide piece of DSP to a Highland Heather card base. Then I used one of the sentiments from the Snowflake Wishes set and heat embossed it in silver. It was then cut out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and popped up with dimensionals. Adding some rhinestones and a bow using the Snowflake Splendor ribbon which really sparkles.

So I’ll be posting them daily until Sunday and will then demo some (or all) of them at my FB live on Sunday at 11am EST.

Snowflake Splendor DSP

This week’s product is the Snowflake Splendor DSP (153512); it contains really beautiful papers which quickly turned into Christmas cards almost by accident! Don’t forget that it’s one of the papers on sale this month so it’s $9.78 instead of $11.50.

I cut a 2 inch strip of the Snowflake Splendor DSP and matted it with whisper white. This layer was then applied to a balmy blue card base. The sentiment comes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set which I cut out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies and popped up with dimensionals. A few rhinestones were added to increase the sparkle! Tomorrow I’ll make a similar card with the other side of this paper.

Isn’t it beautiful? I merely applied my piece of DSP to a Misty Moonlight card base. Then I used one of the sentiments from the Snowflake Wishes set and stamped it in Highland Heather. It was then cut out using the Rectangle Stitched Dies and popped up with dimensionals.

I got so carried away with the beautiful Snowflake Splendor DSP that instead of making my usual 3 cards for the week, I’ve made 5. So I’ll be posting them daily until Sunday and will then demo some (or all) of them at my FB live on Sunday at 11am EST.

Gnome for the Holidays

Here’s card three using Gnome for the Holidays. It’s an adorable set and very relaxing to sit down and color. This time I included all the gnomes.

I stamped all of the gnomes in memento black and then colored them using blends – poppy parade, shaded spruce, crumb cake and mango melody. Next I added a touch of clear Wink of Stella on the decorations. The gnomes were then layered on top of a piece of poppy parade which had been dry embossed with the Winter Snow embossing folder. This layer was adhered to a thick whisper white card base and adorned with a sentiment. It also comes from the Gnome for the Holidays set and was die cut using the Rectangular Stitched Framelits Dies. The final touch was a bow from the All the Trimmings combo ribbon pack.

This was demonstrated on my Facebook live earlier today along with 2 others cards.

Gnome for the Holidays

Here’s card two with this week’s fun set, Gnome for the Holidays. It’s so much fun.

I stamped the little house with memento black and then colored the image using blends – poppy parade, shaded spruce, crumb cake and mango melody. Next it was placed onto a card base of Poppy Parade. After that I stamped one of the sentiments from the Gnome for the Holidays set in Poppy Parade and popped it up using dimensionals. It would be easy to stamp out a number of these and then colour in whilst at the doctors, dentists or even watching television. Before you’d know where you are, you’d have a load of half finished Christmas cards!
