In the Pines bundle

I did it again – I completely forgot to share this post on Sunday. Last week I was showcasing the In the Pines bundle (155182, $51.25 with the bundled savings). The bundle consists of the In the Pines 14 piece photopolymer stamp set and the 9 piece Pine Woods dies. I made a very simple card which I believe is rather elegant in its minimalist way. This card is also great for creating multiples. Just use the Pine Wood Dies to cut out the tree in very vanilla. Next stamp the sentiment in Mossy Meadow and then layer onto a Mossy Meadow card base. After my FB Live on Sunday, I made a quick half a dozen copies of this card.

I said earlier that this In the Pines bundle is going to feature strongly in my Christmas cards this year. I think I only have more cards using the Snowflake Splendor DSP than this bundle.

In the Pines bundle

This week I’m showcasing on the In the Pines bundle (155182, $51.25 with the bundled savings). The bundle consists of the In the Pines 14 piece photopolymer stamp set and the 9 piece Pine Woods dies. There is a lot to craft with here!

First I cut out the sloping snow bank using the Pine Wood dies and then stamped the trees in Mossy Meadow, some of which will  be standing on the bank. Next the sentiment was stamped, also in Mossy Meadow. The snow bank was then glued onto the whisper white layer which was put on the Mossy Meadow card base. Next a clear Wink of Stella added sparkle to the snow bank and also to the trees where I pulled some of the ink to give a sense of snow on the branches.

I feel that this In the Pines bundle is going to feature strongly in my Christmas cards this year, but I think I’ve been saying that of all the Christmas sets that I’ve tried!

In the Pines bundle

This week I’m focusing on the In the Pines bundle (155182, $51.25 with the bundled savings). The bundle consists of the In the Pines 14 piece photopolymer stamp set and the 9 piece Pine Woods dies.

After die cutting the tree in very vanilla, the rest of the very vanilla layer was adhered to an old olive card base. Next the die cut tree was popped up with tiny pieces of dimensionals so that the old olive shows through.

The sentiment is from the In the Pines stamp set and is stamped in old olive. It was then die cut using the Stitched Shapes framelits dies and glued right onto the very vanilla layer. The finishing touch was the old olive and gold  bow made from the All The trimmings ribbon combo pack adhered with a glue dot.

Snowflake Splendor DSP

Here’s the final card this week with the Snowflake Splendor DSP (153512). Don’t forget that it’s one of the papers on sale this month so instead of $11.50 it’s $9.78. I haven’t even started on the stamp set (apart from the sentiments) or dies yet!

This is an extremely quick card; I cut a piece of the DSP and then a mat of pacific point which was an 1/8 inch larger than the DSP giving a tiny border. I think that the skinny border really sets off the DSP without overwhelming it.  The card base if thick whisper white and I stamped the sentiment in pacific point before adhering the matted layer in case of issues. Although if I had messed up the stamping, I could always have stamped it again, die cut it and put on top. You could add some rhinestones or even the Snowflake Splendor ribbon, but I like it clean and simple.

Be sure to join me shortly and when I will then demo them at my FB live at 11am EST.

Snowflake Splendor DSP

Here’s a fourth card this week also using the Snowflake Splendor DSP (153512). Yes, I got a bit carried away with it. Don’t forget that it’s one of the papers on sale this month so instead of $11.50 it’s $9.78.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Snowflake Splendor DSP - Rectangle Stitched Dies

Here I cut a smaller panel of the Snowflake Splendor DSP and matted it with pool party before putting it on a thick whisper white card base. The sentiment is from the Snowflake wishes set which can be bought bundled with the dies. I heat embossed it in silver which seemed appropriate for the sparkle part of the sentiment! I cut it out with the rectangle stitched dies and popped it up with dimensionals.

Be sure to join me tomorrow and when I will then demo some (or all) of them at my FB live at 11am EST.
