Embossing Folders

I’m doing something a little different this week – using three dry embossing folders. They really don’t get highlighted enough.

I ran a piece of white card stock through the machine inside the Painted Posies embossing folder. The brayer was inked up in Polished Pink and rolled over the card so that the debossed side was left white. This was attached to a white card base.

The sentiment is from Artistically Inked and stamped in Polished Pink. After die cutting using the Stitched Rectangles dies it was attached to the card with dimenionals.

The final touch was the addition of some solid faceted gems.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Splendid Day Specialty DSP

This week I’m using the Splendid Day Specialty DSP. Here’s one that isn’t quite as splendidly shiny (and therefore easier to photograph).

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Splendid Day Specialty DSP - Charming Sentiments - Labels Aglow dies

The piece of DSP was cut to 5 1/2 by 2 inches and put onto a fresh freesia card base.

Next, the sentiment from Charming Sentiments was stamped in Fresh Freesia and cut out with the Labels Aglo dies. It was added to the card base and then a few of the Pastel Pearls were added.

I made this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle.

Design a Daydream DSP

The Design a Daydream DSP is a host pick and costs just $18 of host rewards (it’s a $30 value). It’s an incredible deal of 48 sheets of 12 by 12 inch paper, 4 sheets of each double sided pattern, for just $18.

The Design a Daydream DSP was cut to 4 1/4 by 5 inches. This way we get a half an inch both sides of the DSP. This was added to an Old Olive card base.

Next the sentiment, from Charming Sentiments, was stamped in Old Olive. It was cut out using the Labels Aglow dies and added to the card with dimensionals.

Finally some iridescent rhinestones were added.

I made this card, along with 2 others using this DSP at my Facebook Live this morning at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. If you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for next week.

Design a Daydream DSP

The Design a Daydream DSP is a host pick and uses up just $18 host rewards (it’s a $30 value). It’s an incredible deal of 48 sheets of 12 by 12 inch paper, 4 sheets of each double sided pattern, for just $18.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Design a Daydream DSP - Charming Sentiments - Stitched Rectangle dies

The Design a Daydream DSP was cut to an eighth of an inch smaller than a regular card base. Next the DSP was added to a Blackberry Bliss card base giving a small margin which I really like.

Following that the sentiment, from Charming Sentiments was heat embossed with silver powder on Blackberry Bliss card. This was then die cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies and added to the card with dimensionals.

Finally some rhinestones were added.

I’ll be making this card, along with 2 others using this DSP at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. If you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for next week.

Nature’s Prints bundle

This week I’m using the Sun Prints collection; today it’s the Nature’s Prints bundle.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Nature's Prints bundle - Nature's Prints - Natural Prints dies

First I used Poppy Parade and Evening Evergreen to add color to the stamp. After huffing on it to moisten it was stamped on white. It was then cut out using the Natural Prints dies.

Following that, I did this twice more directly to the white card base using the one I’d die cut as a positioning guide. The die cut was then added using dimensionals. Opal Rounds were added to the centre of the flowers.

Finally, the sentiment was stamped in Poppy Parade and die cut using the matching dies. This particular die is going to be a really useful one I think. The die card was added directly to the card.

I’ll be making this card and two others using the Sun Prints collection on Sunday at my Facebook Live at 11am eastern. Please join me and if you share the live, I’ll add you to my weekly raffle. I also upload it to YouTube if you prefer that medium.
