A Little Lace

This week I’m focusing on a retiring set, A Little Lace. Currently it’s still available but it’s as supplies last so don’t wait.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - A Little Lace - Stitched Rectangle dies

This is a very simple card using just the border stamp which is stamped in Pretty Peacock. I really love this color, it’s so rich. So the border was stamped on Whisper White in Pretty Peacock and then the sentiment in the same ink. The sentiment comes from Sweet Ice Cream (highly recommended) and is stamped in Pretty Peacock on Whisper White and then cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies. These are popped with dimensionals. All the layers are then attached to a Pretty Peacock card base. As a finishing touch, I added a few of my favourite embellishments, Elegant Faceted gems. So happy that they are carrying over.

Art Gallery

Here’s the third card showcasing the Art Gallery Bundle this week. The bundle consists of the Art Gallery Stamp set and Floral Art dies (buy together and save 10%; 156227 $50.25) and coordinates with the Fine Art Floral DSP (154558, $11.50).

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Art Gallery - Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies - Gilded Leafing Embellishment

Today, I’m just using the Art Gallery stamp set plus a very special embellishment, Gilded Leafing, which is currently backordered and should be available in a couple of weeks.

I stamped the flower in Poppy Parade and the leaves in Mossy Meadow. After it was really dry, I stamped the other image in versamark, sprinkled on the heat and stick powder and heated with the heat tool. Heat just until it’s glossy, which means it’s sticky. Go too far and it loses it’s stickiness. Ask me how I know!! Take a sponge dauber and take pieces of the Gilded Leafing and rub them onto the glossy Heat and Stick powder. It’s really exciting.

The sentiment is stamped in more Poppy Parade and die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies and then popped up using dimensionals. The mat is of course more Poppy Parade and then that’s put onto a Very Vanilla card base.

Don’t forget that my BOGO started this past Friday. You still have time since it goes until Monday at 6pm EDT. Here’s the link to join the Facebook group: http://www.myelegantcards.com/upcoming-bogo/

Bouquet of Hope

This week I’m making alternative cards using the Paper Pumpkin kit, Bouquet of Hope. If you subscribe under me, I’ll send you the tutorial to teach you how to make these.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Bouquet of Hope - February 2021 Paper Pumpkin alternatives - Sweet Ice Cream - Stitched Rectangle Dies

This is also a simple card. Here, the main stamp of the Bouquet of Hope set was stamped around two edges of the Pretty Peacock card base in versamark. After sprinkling with silver embossing powder it was heated until it was shiny and glossy. It’s such a satisfying thing to watch happen.

The sentiment comes from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and was embossed on a Pretty Peacock scrap. After being cut up with the Stitched Rectangle Dies, it was popped up with dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card at my free card class later on today at 11am which will then be uploaded to YouTube.

Here the trio of flowers stamp was stamped in Rococo Rose onto a same colored card base for a fun background. Then the main bunch of flowers stamp was stamped on Very Vanilla in more Rococo Rose after which it was matted with foil. The sentiment is from Peaceful Moments, stamped in more Rococo Rose and die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies.

I’ll be making this card and 2 others at my free card class on Sunday at 11am which then gets uploaded to YouTube.

Paper Blooms DSP

This week I’m working with the last Sale-a-bration paper, Paper Blooms DSP. It’s a level 1 reward, meaning it’s a $50 order redemption. Don’t forget that this year, Sale-a-bration only runs for 2 months and ends on the 28th of February.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Paper Blooms DSP - Stitched Shapes Framelits dies

This card shows a small strip of the Paper Blooms DSP, matted in Seaside Spray matching all the dots with a piece of Seaside Spray metallic ribbon along the bottom edge. Sadly the photo didn’t pick up the sparkle in the ribbon, but it’s there! The panel was then put onto a Night of Navy card base.

Finally the sentiment comes from Peaceful Moments; it’s an extremely useful stamp set. It’s stamped in Night of Navy on Seaside Spray and die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies. It’s popped up using dimensionals.

I’ll be showing this card and two others using Paper Blooms DSP on Sunday at 11am EST on my Facebook Live.
