Handsomely Suited bundle

The Handsomely Suited bundle is a lot of fun to play with. It consists of the Handsomely Suited stamp set (154444, $21) and the Suit & Tie dies (154322, $32) but you’re best off buying it as a bundle and getting a discount (156240, $47.50). Or even buy the suite (155983, $66) which consists of the discounted bundle, a twine combo pack and the Well Suited DSP. You’re going to need the DSP!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Handsomely Suited - Suit & Ties Dies

Here I stamped the bow tie in momento tuxedo black and then die cut it using the Suit & Tie dies. I used one of the sentiments from the Handsomely Suite stamp set and stamped in Night of Navy on white cardstock, matting in more Night of Navy. The background is a 2 inch strip of the same Well Suited DSP on a Nice of Navy card base. Thinking about it, I’m not sure why I stamped the bow tie in black – I think I’ll use Night of Navy next time.

I’ll be showing you how to make this card on Sunday at 11am EDT at my live. Come and join me.

Vine Design Bundle

This week I’m using the Vine Design Bundle (156266, $55.75) from the January to June mini catalog which consists of the Vine Design stamp set and the Flowering Vine dies.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Vine Design Bundle - Vine Design - Flowering Vine Dies - Stitched so Sweetly Dies

There was a lot of die cutting with this card. First the vine in Evening Evergreen and then the flowers stamped in Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia. Using the multipurpose liquid glue, the flowers were attached to the vine after which the vine was glued to a Whisper White layer. Before adding this to the Polished Pink card base, a piece of ribbon was wrapped around the card.

The sentiment, also from Vine Design was stamped in Polished Pink and die cut using the Flowering Vines dies. The die cut was popped up with dimensionals over the Polished Pink ribbon. Finally I added some of the brand new – and gorgeous – 2021-2023 incolor jewels. I haven’t used the Elegant Faceted gems all week!

I’ll be making this and the other 2 cards on Facebook at 11am EST today. Come and join me, share my Live and I’ll enter you into a raffle. If you prefer YouTube, please subscribe to my channel.

Happiest of Birthdays

This week I’m focusing on the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set. It’s a 4 piece cling stamp set (152539, $19) which can make really fast cards for when you’re in a rush! Except when one of the stamps disappears and you have to spend time cleaning up to try to find it! I still haven’t found it, but my craft room is a lot tidier! I’m beginning to suspect it stuck to my shirt which means it could be anywhere in the house…

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Happiest of Birthdays - Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies - Forever Greenery DSP

The background for this card is a piece of the Forever Greenery DSP which I’m trying to use up this month. It is on a Soft Sea Foam cardbase.  The sentiment is stamped in Pretty Peacock and then die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies. Sadly I was really late to the party regarding how well Pretty Peacock coordinates with Soft Sea Foam. After popping up the sentiment with dimensionals, a few Elegant Faceted gems were added.

Come and join me on Facebook today at 11am EDT to learn how to make this and 2 others. I will also upload the video to YouTube.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Happiest of Birthdays - Stitched Rectangle Dies - Flowers for Every Season DSP

In the Flowers for All Season DSP which I used last week, I discovered this beautiful yellow rose paper. I’m not sure how I missed it previously but it seemed perfect for today’s card. There’s a white mat around the DSP which is then adhered to a BumbleBee card base.

Then the Happiest of Birthdays sentiment stamp was stamped in Bumblebee on whisper white and then cut out using the Stitched Rectancle dies. The sentiment was popped up with dimensionals and a few gold glimmer enamel dots were added.

Come and join me on Facebook on Sunday at 11am EDT to learn how to make this and 2 others. I also upload the video to YouTube.

Take your Poppy Parade layer and heat emboss the sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays in gold. Then add a gold foil mat and place onto a Poppy Parade card base. Add a few gold glitter enamel dots and you’re done. Just the thing if you’ve almost forgotten someone’s birthday and you’re short of time!
