Bright Blossoms for Fab Friday Challenge

No, it’s not Friday, sorry. But this challenge was set by the Fab Friday Challenge blog and it took me a few days to create a card with these colours. After playing around with numerous stamp sets, I went super simple and finally inked up the Bright Blossoms set which I picked up from the clearance rack a couple of months ago. Although it looks simple, it required a pencil and eraser in addition to my usual ruler in order to get everything lined up.

Stampin' Up! Bright Blossoms

The challenge banner that inspired this card is

I started by stamping the calypso coral vase in the centre of the long side and then placed the blushing bride one next to it. I then had to measure the distance between then and ensure it was the same distance between the hello honey and calypso coral. I then added the scoring around each edge and glued the card to a calypso coral base. The envelope is lined in the backgrounds DSP from the subtles family in calypso coral.

See you tomorrow,

Liz

Thanks Amanda – I was glad to have the opportunity to get that set out and ink it up. It was its first outing. 🙂

Wow – keeping it so clean and lovely sure added the drama – love it! Great job with the border scoring, too – really sets off your focal point! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
