Sea Turtle

This week I’m using the Sea Turtle photopolymer stamp set. It’s a reversible set and a great use for more Lost Lagoon!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Sea Turtle - Layering Leaves

This is a very simple card; the turtle is stamped onto a Lost Lagoon card base in Pretty Peacock. Next the sentiment from Layering Leaves was added, also in Pretty Peacock.

Clear Wink of Stella was added to the shell along with a few of the Misty Moonlight gems from the Tinsel Gems Three pack.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday eastern at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut card stock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Hello, Irresistible DSP

This week I’m using the Hello, Irresistible DSP. I’ve managed to only use Lost Lagoon for a mat and stamping the sentiment in case there are any people not as fond of the colour as I am. Not that I can imagine how that can be!

The DSP was cut to 2 by 5 1/2 inches and then matted with a piece of Lost Lagoon 2 3/8 by 5 1/2 inches. This was then added to a Daffodil Delight card base. I don’t use Daffodil Delight much; I got the colors from the DSP.

The sentiment, from Layering Leaves, was stamped directly onto the card base in Lost Lagoon. Finally I added some of the Glossy Dots assortment – I actually used the matching Daffodil Delight ones for once!

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday eastern at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

Hello, Irresistible DSP

This week I’m using the Hello, Irresistible DSP which is gorgeous. I’ve indulged myself with again celebrating the return of Lost Lagoon – I hope you like it as much as I do!

The DSP was cut to 4 1/4 by 4 1/2 inches and then matted with a piece of Pretty Peacock 4 1/4 by 4 5/8 inches. This was then added to a Lost Lagoon card base.

The sentiment, from Layering Leaves, was stamped in Pretty Peacock onto Lost Lagoon. This was die cut using the Styling Shapes dies and then added to the card using dimensionals.

Finally I added some of the Glossy Dots assortment – I used the pool party ones but they work.

I’ve managed to move on from the Fresh as a Daisy and am using another DSP to help with the transition! This one is Hello, Irresistible DSP which I thought I’d missed the opportunity of using before it retired. But I found it in the Online Specials so it’s still available to us. And yes, there are loads of patterns I want to use – starting with this one.

The DSP was cut to 3 3/4 by 5 1/2 inches and matted with a piece of Flirty Flamingo (3 7/8 by 5 1/2) on one side. It was then added to a white card base.

I tried to add a sentiment but it seemed to detract from the beauty of the paper so I’ll add a Happy Birthday inside. I added some of the medium Iridescent Rhinestone gems.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday eastern at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

Fresh as a Daisy Suite

This week I’m using more pieces of the Fresh as a Daisy suite. Finally I’m using the dies and the stamp set and no DSP!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Fresh as a Daisy DSP - Cheerful Daisies - Cheerful Daisies Dies

The Orchid Oasis is a single die cut from the Cheerful Daisies dies which is really awesome. After poking out the pieces, it was glued to a Crumb Cake layer and then onto an Orchid Oasis card base.

The sentiment from Cheerful Daisies was stamped in Orchid Oasis onto a scrap of crumb cake. It was then die cut using the Stylish Shapes dies and attached to the card with dimensionals. At a final touch, I added some gems from the 2022-2024 in color pearls.

I made this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live this morning  11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.
