Silver & Gold Specialty Paper

This week I’m using the Saleabration $50 freebie of the Silver & Gold Specialty Paper. So I’ve made a start on my Christmas cards – Christmas in July, it’s a thing, right?

A two inch high piece of the gold dotted paper was matted with Poppy Parade and added to a white card base. Next I used the snowflake from Joyful Flurry and heat embossed it with gold powder. This was then matted using gold foil and added to the card.

Next the sentiment, from Joyful Flurry, was stamped in Poppy Parade and die cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies. This was popped up with dimensionals. Finally a few champagne basic rhinestones were added.

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others on my Facebook Live on Sunday. I’ll also be uploading it to YouTube.

One of the Rings of Love DSP designs has a lot of houses amongst trees so I decided to cut one out and spotlight it.

This image is matted in Evening Evergreen and attached to a Mint Macaron card base. Finally the sentiment, from Happiness Abounds, was stamped in Evening Evergreen.

I’ll be making this card plus two others at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern.  I’ll also upload the video to YouTube. If you share my live, I’ll add you to next week’s raffle.

Rings of Love DSP

This week’s product is the free Saleabration paper, Rings of Love. The paper is really pretty and very versatile. You won’t believe all of this week’s cards came from the same paper pack!

Using designer series paper makes for fast card making although I just like to show off the gorgeous patterns. This means not adding too much else to hide the paper.

This pattern of the Rings of Love DSP was matted in Night of Navy. Next the sentiment, from Happiness Abounds, was stamped in more Night of Navy. Finally the matted layer was added to a Mint Macaron card base.

I’ll be making this card plus two others at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern.  I’ll also upload the video to YouTube. If you share my live, I’ll add you to next week’s raffle.

Elephant Parade

The product of the week is the Elephant Parade set. I really like this little elephant so I gave him a balloon.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Elephant Parade - Stitched Rectangular dies

As before I stamped the elephant in Memento Tuxedo Black and added the balloon too. Then I coloured him in using Basic Grey, Pacific Point and Melon Mambo for the inside of his ears. Of course I used Wink of Stella to smooth out the lines and to add a little shimmer.

The focal point was matted in Pacific Point and added to a white card base. The sentiment, from the Elephant Parade set, was stamped in Pacific Point. After cutting it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, it was added to the card using dimensionals.

I previously created a baby girl card and wanted to create a card for a baby boy too. For this card, I just added a basic black mat.

As before, the elephant was stamped in Memento Tuxedo black on a piece of Whisper White. Next I grabbed some watercolor pencils, namely Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Melon Mambo and Pacific Point. Using Wink of Stella I smoothed out the pencil lines as well as adding a little shimmer.

This was then added to a Basic Black mat and then to a Balmy Blue card base. Finally the sentiment, from Elephant Parade, was stamped in Memento tuxedo black.

I made this card along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live yesterday. Check out the video on Facebook or YouTube. If you share my live, you’re added to next week’s raffle.
