Beauty of Friendship

Here’s the third card using the Beauty of Friendship set from last week. Sorry for the delay but yesterday I was totally out of energy.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Beauty of Friendship - Frosted Flurry Dies

The tree trunks were stamped in Sahara Sand at different heights to give the impression of a copse. Then the distinktive stamp was stamped in Crushed Curry over the trunks which gave all the detail and the gorgeous colors that I’m anticipating we’ll see soon.

The white layer was then matted in Sahara Sand and mounted onto a Crushed Curry card base.  Next the sentiment, also from Beauty of Friendship, was stamped in Sahara Sand onto Crushed Curry. After die cutting it with the Frosted Flurry dies, it was attached with dimensionals. Finally a few champagne rhinestone basic jewels were added.

I made this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live yesterday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Beauty of Friendship

This week I’m using the Beauty of Friendship set.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Beauty of Friendship - Frosted Flurry Dies

The tree trunk was stamped Early Espresso at different heights. The foliage is a distinktive stamp, meaning that you get a lot of extra detail. This was stamped in Shaded Spruce – just one stamp and you get all this detail, it’s brilliant. The white layer was added to a Shaded Spruce card base.

Finally the sentiment, also from Beauty of Friendship, was stamped in Early Espresso on Shaded Spruce. It was die cut using the Frosted Flurry dies and attached with dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Beauty of Friendship

This week I’m using the Beauty of Friendship set and I can see that it’s going to be really fun.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Beauty of Friendship

The tree was stamped in Sahara Sand on a piece of watercolor paper. The foliage was stamped in Mossy Meadow and spritzed lightly with water before stamping.

It was then matted with Sahara Sand and glued to a Mossy Meadow card base. I contemplated a sentiment strip and also embellishments but it just seemed too much, so I left it clean and simple.

I’ll be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Snowflake Specialty Vellum

Here’s the third card using the fun Snowflake Specialty Vellum.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Snowflake Specialty Vellum - Joyful Flurry - Frosted Flurry Dies8

First I cut a strip of theSnowflake Specialty vellum to 2 by 5 1/2 inches. Next I silver embossed the sentiment onto Rich Razzleberry and die cut it using the Frosted Flurry dies. Then I attached the sentiment strip to the front of the vellum. Turning this over, I added glue to where the sentiment strip was going to hide the glue. I also added a tiny bit behind the larger centre of the pattern.

Finally I added some Pastel Pearls.

I’ll be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live later today at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle.

Snowflake Specialty Vellum

Here’s the second card using the fun Snowflake Specialty Vellum. This should’ve been posted yesterday but I’m still having computer issues. The HIT (Home IT) desk is on the case now that he’s no longer testing positive for Covid. It was really bad timing!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Snowflake Specialty Vellum - Joyful Flurry - Frosted Flurry Dies

First I heat embossed the sentiments in silver three times on Balmy Blue and cut them out using the Frosted Flurry dies.  Then I glued them onto the Snowflake Specialty vellum. Next I added glue to the back of the vellum where the sentiment dies were positioned and added it to a Balmy Blue card base.

I’ll be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live tomorrow at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle.
