Embossing Folders

I’m doing something a little different this week – using three dry embossing folders. They really don’t get highlighted enough. This one is the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder.

I ran a piece of Evening Evergreen card stock through the machine that was a touch large. This meant after the embossing happened, I could trim it to size. I matted the embossed layer with white and then attached it to an Evening Evergreen card base.

The sentiment, from Nature’s Prints, was stamped in Evening Evergreen and die cut with the layering circles dies. I also cut a matching scallop in Evening Evergreen and layered them together. The sentiment pieces were added with dimensionals.

Finally I added a few Polished Dots.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Embossing Folders

I’m doing something a little different this week – using three dry embossing folders. They really don’t get highlighted enough.

I ran a piece of white card stock through the machine inside the Painted Posies embossing folder. The brayer was inked up in Polished Pink and rolled over the card so that the debossed side was left white. This was attached to a white card base.

The sentiment is from Artistically Inked and stamped in Polished Pink. After die cutting using the Stitched Rectangles dies it was attached to the card with dimenionals.

The final touch was the addition of some solid faceted gems.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Boughs of Holly DSP

This card should’ve been posted on Sunday but my internet went out – in the middle of my live! I redid the live a day or so later which has confused me greatly as regards what day it is! So here’s the third Boughs of Holly DSP card.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Boughs of Holly DSP - Brightest Glow - Frosted Flurry Dies

The Boughs of Holly DSP pattern was cut to 2 by 5 1/2 inches and attached to a white card base. Evening Evergreen was used for the sentiment which was from the Brightest Glow.

Next the snowflake was created using the Frosted Flurry dies and silver foil. This was matted with Evening Evergreen and attached to the card using dimensionals.

I made this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern and repeated it a few days later to allow for the internet issues. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Boughs of Holly DSP

Today I’m using the Boughs of Holly DSP with a bit of help from the sentiments from Joyful Flurry and the matching Frosted Flurry dies.

The Boughs of Holly DSP pattern was cut to 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. A piece of Evening Evergreen was cut to 3 5/8 by 5 1/2 and the DSP was matted so that the green only showed on the left hand side. This was then added to a Real Red card base lining up the right hand edges. This leaves a 5/8 inch left hand border.

This sentiment comes from Joyful Flurry and is stamped in Evening Evergreen onto a scrap of Real Red. After die cutting with the Frosted Flurry dies, it was attached to the card with dimensionals.

I will make this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Boughs of Holly DSP

This week I’m using the Boughs of Holly DSP with a bit of help from the sentiments from Joyful Flurry.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Boughs of Holly DSP - Joyful Flurry

The Boughs of Holly DSP pattern was cut to 2 by 3 inches and then matted with Evening Evergreen. I love this green anyway, but I think it’s especially good for Christmas cards. What do you think?

This sentiment comes from Joyful Flurry and is stamped directly onto the white card base in Evening Evergreen.

I think too much of this pattern would be overwhelming and the advantage of this smaller piece is that you can make 24 of these cards from a single sheet. They are fast to make too.

I don’t think anyone is in a panic regarding Christmas cards yet, but you might keep this at the back of your mind if you do start panicking!

I will make this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.
