Bright and Beautiful DSP

Here is the second card featuring the Bright and Beautiful DSP.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Bright and Beautiful DSP - Charming Sentiments - Stylish Shapes dies

The piece of the Bright and Beautiful DSP was cut to 5 by 3 3/4 inches. It was matted with Blueberry Bushel (a returning colour) cut to 5 1/8 by 3 7/8 inches. This layer was then added to a white card base.

Next a sentiment from Charming Sentiments was stamped in Blueberry Bushel  and cut using the Stylish Shapes dies. I think that these dies are going to be my new favourite.  The sentiment was added to the card using dimensionals. Finally I added some Tinsel Gems (four pack) to the card.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this paper at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Bright and Beautiful DSP

It turns out that I am anaemic despite having really high iron. And that, on top of my thyroid meds being off, along with an antibiotic meant that I was extremely fatigued. Today I had a blood transfusion which should make me feel more normal in a day or so. This is why I haven’t been posting – it took me over a week to make this simple card due to needing rest. But here we go with the first card featuring the Bright and Beautiful DSP.

A 2 by 3 inch piece of the Bright and Beautiful DSP was matted with Bubble Bath – one of the new core colors. Next a sentiment from Charming Sentiments was stamped in versamark and then heat embossed using silver embossing powder onto a Bubble Bath card base. The matted layer was then attached to the card.

Finally some basic rhinestones were added.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this paper at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

Fresh as a Daisy DSP

Here’s another card using the Fresh as a Daisy DSP.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Fresh as a Daisy DSP - Cheerful Daisies

Here’s a simple, clean card using the Fresh as a Daisy DSP here cut into 2 by 3 inches. It was then matted with Wild Wheat cut an 1/8 inch larger rectangle. Holding this in place on the white card base for positioning purposes, the sentiment was stamped in Moody Mauve. The matted piece of DSP was then added to the card.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this paper at my Facebook Live later on at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Fresh as a Daisy DSP

The Fresh as a Daisy DSP is too beautiful to spend just a week on it so here’s some more of it! Don’t forget that you can now order from the new annual catalogue.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Fresh as a Daisy DSP - Cheerful Daisies - Cheerful Daisies dies

The Fresh as a Daisy DSP was cut to 5 1/2 by 2 3/8 (because 2 inches wide just cut off too much that I wanted) and added to a white card base.

The sentiment, from Cheerful Daisies, was stamped in Copper Clay onto white. After die cutting using the Cheerful Daisies dies, it was added to the card base with dimensionals. Finally a few in color dots were added.

I trimmed the DSP rectangle and then halved it and added it to a Wild Wheat card base. I had thought to mat it but I couldn’t find a colour that really worked for me.

Next the sentiment, from Cheerful Daisies, was stamped directly onto the card base in Pretty Peacock. Finally a few in color dots were added.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this paper at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.
