Continuing on with the Rustic Harvest DSP

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Rustic Harvest DSP - Soft Seedlings

This is another very simple card; the DSP was cut to 2 by 3 inches and matted with Mossy Meadow an eighth of an inch larger.

The sentiment is from the Soft Seedlings set and stamped in Mossy Meadow. After that the DSP piece was added to the white card base. Finally some of the Mossy Meadow solid faceted gems were added.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Rustic Harvest DSP

I was doing a little (very little!) clearing up in my craft area and discovered the Rustic Harvest DSP unopened. So I decided it should be used this week,

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Rustic Harvest DSP - Stitched Rectangle Dies

 

This is a very simple card; the DSP was cut to 4 1/8 by 5 3/8 inches and added to a Mossy Meadow card base. You need to trim a little from the bottom first in order to get the whole butterfly.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments set and stamped in Mossy Meadow. Then it was cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies and added to the card with dimensionals. Finally some of the Mossy Meadow solid faceted gems were added.

Sun Prints DSP

It may be late but it is being posted on the right day so we’re getting back to normal! I needed a two nap this afternoon. This is the Nature’s Prints stamp set and the Sun Prints DSP.

I expect that you’re thinking that I made a mistake when I listed the Sun Prints DSP, but it really is there. The blue background is actually the other side of yesterday’s DSP and if you look hard, is not a consistent color. It took me a minute trying to figure out how to prep this card – was the cardbase Night of Navy or Starry Sky? Eventually I figured it out!

The Sun Prints DSP was cut to 5 1/8 by 3 7/8 inches and added to a white card base. The 2 3/4 by 4 inches piece of white was stamped in Starry Sky using the Nature’s Prints set. This was matted with silver foil and added to the card base.  Some basic rhinestones were added as a final touch.

Sun Prints DSP

It seems to be Excuse Week! I went to the opticians before blogging yesterday and my eyes ended up so dilated that everything was blurry for quite a while. I’m not planning anything for today so we should be back to normal operations! I’m using the gorgeous Sun Prints DSP again.

The Sun Prints DSP was cut to 3 1/2 by 4 inches and matted in white. I tried to add a sentiment but it was totally unnecessary and detracted from the patterned paper so it’s a plain card. Before I made cards, when I went shopping for them, I would always look for cards without sentiments. Funny how things change isn’t it? 

The matted paper was added to a Night of Navy card base and then some Elegant Faceted gems were added.

Sun Prints DSP

Apologies for the late posting; I thought I’d done this card and went wandering around the house to find it until my brother commented that he didn’t think I’d actually made it. I’m blaming the lack of focus on chemo brain!

The Sun Prints DSP was cut to 5 1/2 by 2 inches and added to a Starry Sky card base. Next the image, from Nature’s Prints was stamped in Parakeet Party onto white and matted in the same colour. This was added to the card base.

The sentiment, also from Nature’s Prints, was stamped in Starry Sky on white. It was die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits Dies as was a scalloped Parakeet Party to mat the sentiment and tie the card together. This was added to the card with dimensionals.
