Plentiful Plants

The product of the week is the 15 piece photopolymer set, Plentiful Plants (155693, $21). I love the Distinktive stamps, just beautiful.

I decided to just use the pots on this card along with the Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet inks.

The pots were stamped up one side of the white layer. Next the sentiment, from the Plentiful Plants set, was stamped in Starry Sky. The white layer was then added to a Starry Sky card base.

Finally I added some of the 2022-2024 in color Matte Decorative dots. As you may notice, I am back to the dots matching. I feel much more comfortable now!

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others using this stamp set on Sunday at my Facebook Live. It is held at 11am east coast and the video is uploaded to YouTube too. If you share my live, I’ll add you to the following week’s raffle.

Plentiful Plants

The product of the week is the 15 piece photopolymer set, Plentiful Plants (155693, $21). There are matching dies but I’m just using the stamp set this week.

I continued to use Evening Evergreen and Orchid Oasis but added Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet as well. It’s an incolor sort of day and I wanted colourful pots I love how the stamps are giving shading on the pots.

The pots and plants were stamped on a white layer and added to an Evening Evergreen card base. The sentiment, from Plentiful Plants, was stamped in Evening Evergreen and die cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies. This was then added to using mini dimensionals.

Finally I added some of the 2022-2024 in color Matte Decorative dots. I have tried different colour embellishments once before and I think that this will be the last time. It makes me vaguely uncomfortable! So I’m back to matching embellishments.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Plentiful Plants

I used a couple of my current favourite colors – Evening Evergreen and Orchid Oasis. The plant and leaves were stamped on a piece of white card and matted in Orchid Oasis. This was then added to a white card base and the sentiment, from the same set, was stamped in more Orchid Oasis.

Finally I added some of the 2022-2024 in color Matte Decorative dots. I rather like this color combination, I’ll be using it again.

Soft Seedlings

This week my product is the 6 piece cling Distinktive stamp set Soft Seedlings (159905, $20).

The sycamore seedling was stamped in Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake onto white as if being blown around by the wind. I then added some Wink of Stella – just enough to add a little shimmer not enough to move the ink.

Next I added the sentiment, from Soft Seedlings, which is stamped in Mint Macaron. This was attached to a Mint Macaron card base. Finally I added some of the Red & Green adhesive backed pearls – I think I’m going to need to buy more of these..

I demonstrated this card plus two others made with Soft Seedlings at my live yesterday. Take a look if you’d like or it’s also on YouTube if you prefer that. Soft Seedlings

This week my product is the 6 piece cling Distinktive stamp set Soft Seedlings (159905, $20). I’m also using a couple of new (to me) embellishments.

The leaf was stamped in Mint Macaron onto white and matted with Mint Macaron. Before adding this to the white card base, I added a strip from the Design a Daydream DSP. This DSP can only be bought with $18 host rewards but it’s 48 double sided sheets and is a $30 value. It features Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Pool Party.

The sentiment, from Soft Seedlings, is also stamped in Mint Macaron. Finally I added some of the Red & Green adhesive backed pearls.
