Waves of Inspiration

This week I’m using the Waves of the Ocean suite which will be featured in the upcoming annual catalog. But it’s available now. It’s absolutely gorgeous. The collection consists of a stamp set, dies, DSP, 6 sheets of foil and colored rhinestones (161797 $79.25)

A piece of the beautiful Waves of the Ocean DSP was attached to a Calypso Coral card base with the white frayed ribbon added first. The focal point is stamped in Soft Suede and matted on Calypso Coral. It was then added to the card base using dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card plus two others at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST. The live is also uploaded to YouTube.

Waves of Inspiration

This week I’m using the Waves of the Ocean suite which will be featured in the upcoming annual catalog. But it’s available now. It’s a really fun and beautiful suite.

Here I’m just using the Waves of Inspiration stamp set. The stamp was inked up in Bermuda Bay and then some Night of Navy was added with a dauber. This was stamped onto a Whisper White layer. The sentiment was stamped in Bermuda Bay and the birds in Night of Navy. The layer was added to a Bermuda Bay cardbase.

It’s a very quick card to make and really effective. I’ll be making this card plus two others at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST. The live is also uploaded to YouTube.

Boughs & Blossoms Bundle

This week I’m focusing on the Boughs & Blossoms bundle. The bundle consists of a stamp set and a punch (157712, $34). This card focused mostly on the punch.

First I punched out the shapes in Polished Pink and Evening Evergreen. Next I drew around the sentiment strip with pencil. In the almost copy of this card that I did on Sunday, I used the Stitched Rectangle dies and drew around the inside of the die.

With the pencil lines showing where the end of the sprigs had to be, the sprigs were attached using multipurpose glue. The advantage of drawing around the inside of the die was that the line didn’t need to be erased unlike on the card above.

The sentiment was stamped in Polished Pink and was attached with dimensionals. A few basic rhinestones were scattered around after being coloured using a dark Polished Blend pen.

I made this card, along with 2 others using this bundle, yesterday at 11am EST on Facebook. It was also be copied to YouTube. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the card precut for you to make the 3 cards.

Boughs & Blossoms Bundle

This week I’m focusing on the Boughs & Blossoms bundle. The bundle consists of a stamp set and a punch (157712, $34).

The DSP is from the Pattern Party DSP; you can buy this massive 48 piece of 12 by 12 inch paper with $18 of host rewards. One side of the DSP is in many colours and the reverse sides are all black and white. I do like to have black and white with a pop of colour, don’t you?

A piece of the DSP was matted in Polished Pink and then attached to a Whisper White card base. The flower was stamped in Polished Pink with the sentiment in tuxedo black. This was matted in Basic Black and attached to the card with dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card, along with 2 others using this bundle, on Sunday at 11am EST on Facebook. It will also be copied to YouTube. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the card precut for you to make the 3 cards.

Boughs & Blossoms Bundle

This week I’m focusing on the Boughs & Blossoms bundle. The bundle consists of a stamp set and a punch (157712, $34).

Ink pads used on this card are Polished Pink, Pacific Point and Evening Evergreen. I stamped starting at the bottom of the Whisper White layer and changed colors as I went upwards. This ensured that I was leaving enough space for the next stamp rather than ending up with overlapped images.

Once I had finished stamped the background it was added to a Polished Oink card base. Next the sentiment was stamped in Polished Pink and then cut out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The sentiment was added with dimensionals. The final touch was some iridescent rhinestones basic jewels.
