Boho Indigo Product Medley

This week I’m showcasing the Boho Indigo Product Medley (153132) and there is SO much to showcase that I’m blogging every day this week. At $70 you may feel it’s expensive, but you get a huge amount of product – and the paper refill is only $13.80 off in the sale. There are stamps, dies, patterned paper, stickers, die cut labels, dry embossed sheets, 2 ribbons and 2 sizes of little flowers for embellishing. Even blogging every day I don’t think I’ll give each part of this medley the attention it deserves!

The first card is another of my favourite style of cards, simple and elegant. The DSP is 2 inch wide with a tiny Very Vanilla mat, both stretching the length of the Misty Moonlight card base. The sentiment, from the Medley’s included stamp set was stamped in Misty Moonlight on Very Vanilla and then punched out using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. The sentiment was popped up with dimensionals and adorned with some of the included paper flowers.

The second card’s vase was stamped in Garden Green and cut out with the dies in the Medley as yesterday. This time I added a single sticker to the  vase which was glued to the Very Vanilla layer and matted in Garden Green. It was then added to a Very Vanilla card base and a few gold glitter gems were added. The sentiment, also from the Medley, was stamped in Garden Green and then cut out using the Stitched Shapes Framelit dies.

Have I convinced you to get this yet? Come back tomorrow for some more samples…

The first card’s vase was stamped in Garden Green and cut out with the dies in the Medley. This was popped up with dimensionals over two of the stickers. The sentiment also comes from the Medley. Finally I added a few gold glitter gems (not in the Medley).

The second card used a piece of the gorgeous DSP which was matted with Misty Moonlight and placed on a Very Vanilla card base. The sentiment, also from the Boho Indigo Product Medley, was stamped in Misty Moonlight and die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Come back tomorrow for some more samples…

A Little Lace

This week I’m focusing on a retiring set, A Little Lace. I’ve just checked – it’s still available but it’s as supplies last so don’t wait.

This is a very simple and fun card to make. It’s just 3 little stamps and 3 colours which are stamped randomly up the side of a Very Vanilla layer. I used  Rococo Rose, Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather. Next I used a Rococo Rose blend and colored in the flowers before attaching the layer to a Rococo Rose mat and then a Very Vanilla card base. The sentiment is from the A Little Lace set and stamped in more Rococo Rose and then cut out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies. The sentiment is popped up with dimensionals and then a few Elegant Faceted gems in the flower centres.

Come and join me on Facebook today at 11am EDT as I show how to make this week’s cards. https://www.facebook.com/MyElegantCards/

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - A Little Lace - Stitched Rectangle dies

This is a very simple card using just the border stamp which is stamped in Pretty Peacock. I really love this color, it’s so rich. So the border was stamped on Whisper White in Pretty Peacock and then the sentiment in the same ink. The sentiment comes from Sweet Ice Cream (highly recommended) and is stamped in Pretty Peacock on Whisper White and then cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies. These are popped with dimensionals. All the layers are then attached to a Pretty Peacock card base. As a finishing touch, I added a few of my favourite embellishments, Elegant Faceted gems. So happy that they are carrying over.
