Lovely You bundle

I made the third card using the Lovely You bundle yesterday and I managed to combine it with my least favourite of the new colors. Well it was my least favorite until I made this card. Now I’m not too sure!

I love the cinnamon cider with the gold embossing. So beautiful. I simply used two of the floral images and stamped in versa mark all around the edges of the card and then sprinkled on gold embossing powder and heated. The very vanilla piece was a smidge under 3/4 inch so that it would fit smoothly into the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch and was stamped in matching Cinnamon Cider and then had both edges punched. The gold foil was a smidge under an inch and punched to form a border. I popped these up with dimensionals and put everything onto a very vanilla card base.

Lovely You

Here’s my second card this week using the Lovely You stamp set. I didn’t use the punch but added some interest with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder.

I used my Stampin’ Write markers in melon mambo and granny apple green to colour the images, huffed on them to moisten them and stamped them on whisper white. I added a mat of melon mambo and then I cut a strip of granny apple green that I embossed using the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder. Amazingly I didn’t pop anything up with dimensionals! The sentiment is also from the Lovely You stamp set.

Lovely You Bundle

This week I’m playing with the Lovely You bundle consisting of the Lovely You stamp set and the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

I decided to make my own designer series paper using stamps from the Lovely You stamp set and Just Jade, Shaded Spruce and Coastal Cabana and mounted that on a Just Jade card base. The sentiment is from Lovely You too, in Just Jade and then I punched the ends using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. There are two different patterns and each lets you make it in 3 widths. Make it a teeny bit smaller than the official width to make it easier to get your banner into the punch.

Field of Flowers

Here’s the third Field of Flowers card that should’ve been posted yesterday but I’m still recovering from the dental surgery on Friday. But here it is.

The card base and layer embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder are both in the new in color, Just Jade.

I then used a piece of very vanilla matted in misty moonlight to stamp the images in the same two colours. I finished it off with a misty moonlight bow and that’s all that was needed.

Field of Flowers

This should’ve been posted yesterday but I lost rather a lot of unplanned time at the periodontist having an awkward tooth extracted. All good now! So, here’s the Field of Flowers second card for the week – also featuring one of the in colors, Magenta Madness.

Don’t you love the intensity and brightness of Magenta Madness? I paired it here with Pear Pizzazz. Added a Magenta Madness mat and a simple sentiment – also from the Field of Flowers set – and the card was good to go.
