Beautiful Moments

Here’s another set that I hadn’t used – Beautiful Moments – but last night I easily made 3 cards, before succumbing to the temptation to use my preorder from the upcoming catalog. I was on a carding and chatting zoom with my friends and it was a great time.

I stamped the image in Sahara sand and then used various watercolor pencils – gorgeous grape, garden green and daffodil delight. Then I smoothed and blended the colour using the blender pens. The sentiment in gorgeous grape fitted perfectly in one of the little Rectangular Stitched framelits dies.

I added a garden green mat and put that on a gorgeous grape card base and then added some little butterflies – one of which I snipped out and popped up.

Beautiful Friendship Extra

I was having so much fun with the Beautiful Friendship set that I didn’t stop and made a third one which I’d like to share with you.

This is all petal pink and white using the hydrangea stamp to create a fun background. I found this beautiful ribbon and wrapped it around the layer before adhering it to the petal pink layer. This was then mounted on a thick whisper white card base.

The sentiment is from the same set and I cut it out using the Stitched Shapes framelits dies and popped it up with dimensionals. A few champagne rhinestones and the card was complete.

More Beautiful Friendship

I’ve been playing with Beautiful Friendship this week and although I was intimidated to start with (hence it took a long time before I inked this set up) it’s really fun to use and very versatile. I love Stampin’ Up!’s distinktive stamp sets that provide such detail and all we have to do is add ink.

So here I inked up in lovely lipstick and added some pear pizzazz leaves. The sentiment is from the same set and I cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. See? I can actually use something other than the Stitched Shapes dies! I add a pear pizzazz mat and mounted on a lovely lipstick card base.

Don’t forget that lovely lipstick is retiring very soon. Also if you want to see how to make this card as well as Wednesday’s and a third one, join me on Facebook at 11am tomorrow. I’ll also upload it to YouTube too. Anyone sharing my FB live gets put into a raffle for a prize. See you there?

Beautiful Friendship

I’ve had this Beautiful Friendship set for ages and was rather intimidated by the large flowers. They are beautiful but I wasn’t sure how I was going to design with them. Let me know what you think.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Beautiful Friendship

It’s actually really fun to make bouquets of flowers. Here I used lovely lipstick and highland heather. The leaves are soft sea foam but I matted on pear pizzazz. I didn’t mean to but I’d started using pear pizzazz for the leaves and then forgot I’d changed! I think it works though.

I used one of the sentiments from the stamp set and die cut it with the Stitched Shapes dies.

Garden Goodness

I did some masking with the Garden Goodness set and was really pleased with the outcome.

Garden Goodness

I stamped the peas first in garden green and then masked them off. I find it easier to stamped the pepper’s stalk first and then add the flesh. Lastly I stamped the avocado, leaning it on the pepper. I used old olive and crumb cake. The sentiment was in the same stamp set. Garden Goodness has loads of detail and is fun to play with. And is guaranteed to be available until the 22nd.
