Final Sale-a-bration offering

Well this is exciting and, I believe, a first. There’s a third and final release of products that can be obtained for free during Sale-a-bration. So until the end of March, for every $50 you spend (not including tax or shipping) you get to select one of the products already released OR one of these new seven, the final Sale-a-bration offering.

Please note that as of right now, the card tin and the glimmer paper are no longer available. You must use the item numbers in the above flyer for these items to be free rather than catalog price. Don’t forget that the extra $25 of stampin’ rewards at a $250 and above order ends at the end of March as does the fantastic joining offer of 2 free stamp sets.

Please use the Stampin’ Rewards code to get a selection of ribbon and sequins (6 yards in all) when your order is $30 or more; the current Stampin’ Rewards code is 34ANVEHC (if your order is over $150, don’t use the code, you get the rewards, but you still get the free gift). In-Color Designer Series Paper Stack

Nicole is joining my team – for the discount of course. That’s why we all join. And why not? A minimum of a 20% discount is awesome and during Sale-a-bration you get to add 2 free stamps to the $125 worth of product that costs you just $99 plus tax. If you’re thinking about joining too, there are 12 days of Sale-a-bration left which means only 12 days to add the 2 free stamps of your choice. I like to send a card to say hello, welcome, I’m glad you joined and I know that Nicole likes tip top taupe so I decided to use the 2015-2017 In-Color Designer Series Paper Stack for her card.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - In-Color Designer Series Paper Stack - Blossom Bunch Punch - Hello You thinlits dies

I covered the entire card base with a piece of the In-Color Designer Series Paper Stack – love the words – and then cut a strip of tip top taupe card stock as a base for my beautiful copper foil word which I die cut using the Hello You thinlits dies. I used the scrap from cutting out the hello to punch out three of the smallest copper foil flowers with the blossom bunch punch. The largest pearl looked great inside them and I attached them all together with glue dots.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Marbling Technique

Today I want to share with you a video that I watched recently and as soon as I can find some shaving foam, I’ll be playing with this too. It creates an amazing background piece, but of course you could die cut it or punch it into any number of shapes to create original looks.

I had intended on making a card to show with this video but this week didn’t go quite as I planned. One of my team members, Madhu, has been in the ICU since Wednesday and passed away on Friday. It’s been hard to think straight and definitely hard to create. I’m hoping that after the services today, I’ll be able to find some solace in the simple act of putting ink to paper. I hope that you get to do the same.

I hope you enjoyed the marbling technique video. Dragonfly Dreams bundle

Mint macaron is going to be one of the colours that I really miss when it retires at the beginning of June. It took a little while to grow on me – as most in-colours do – but now I’m hooked. Don’t forget that card stock and re-inkers of the retiring in-colours are the first to go when the retiring list is announced so it’s best to get them now, before there’s a shortage. Especially since we’re still in Sale-a-bration and just stocking up on retiring goodies would probably get you to $50 and a freebie as well! The Dragonflyl Dreams bundle is a good one to get (if you don’t already own it) since Stampin’ Up! just announced that Dragonfly Dreams is one of the sets that will be in next year’s catalog. It’s safe to assume that the thinlits will still be there but not safe to assume that they’ll still be available as a bundle for a 10% discount.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Dragonfly Dreams bundle - Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies - Dragonfly Dreams

Here I took a piece of watercolor paper and did a light mint macaron wash over it and then cut it out with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits dies. I then added the sentiment from Dragonfly Dreams onto a piece of very vanilla and cut out the same dragonflies out of the very vanilla. I added a square of the mint macaron glimmer paper (Sale-a-bration freebie) to the back of the very vanilla piece and then glued down my watercoloured dragonflies attaching them with glue dots on the bodies. I curled up the wings a little to make them seem more 3D.  Finally I poked out pieces from my diecut of the very vanilla which aren’t parts of the wings and glued them back into place.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Paper Pumpkin March 2017

The Paper Pumpkin March 2017 boxes are winging their way across the county and some people have already got theirs for this month. Here’s the official video showing it. It looks REALLY cute – can’t wait for mine to get here. And next month’s kit is designed by Sara Douglass, our CEO and includes a sneak peek of one of the upcoming incolors. How exciting is that?

As usual, once mine gets here (I’m in NJ so I’m one of the last to get it I think) I’ll be creating alternative projects with the kit contents.

In case you don’t know what Paper Pumpkin is about, here are the details:

  • Each month you receive a unique, surprise kit with a project. It’s colour-coordinated and everything is pre-cut
  • Each kit includes stamps, ink, paper, accessories and instructions.
  • Each kit gives you about 30 minutes of fun
  • Your Paper Pumpkin ships around the 15th of the month.
  • You need to sign up for a kit by the 10th of the month to get that month’s kit. If you sign up on the 11th of the month, your first kit will come the next month.
  • A Paper Pumpkin subscription is just $19.95 per month (and shipping is included!) There’s no commitment, you can cancel or put your subscription on hold at any time. You can also prepay 1, 3, 6 or 12 months at a time (great gift idea) and save money with the latter 2 options.
  • Once you’re a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you can buy previous kits as supplies last. Sometimes complete kits are available, at other times, it’s just the consumables so that you can make more.

And don’t forget that during Sale-a-bration (finishing March 31st), for every $50 you spend (before taxes and shipping) you get to select a FREE product from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. A 3 month prepaid Paper Pumpkin is currently on sale ($55 instead of $59), so not only do you get almost a 7% discount, you get to select a Sale-a-bration freebie. What more could you ask for?! Just order as normal at my online store – you can put the code 137859 in the search bar and it will take you right there. Or, even better and what I recently did, prepay for 12 months which saves you $2 off the monthly price AND gets you FOUR freebies; put 137861 in the search bar. And if you use the Stampin’ Rewards code, you’ll also get a selection of ribbon and sequins for free!

Pease use the Stampin’ Rewards code to get a selection of ribbon and sequins (6 yards in all) when your order is $30 or more; the current Stampin’ Rewards code is 34ANVEHC (if your order is over $150, don’t use the code, you get the rewards, but you still get the free gift). And don’t forget that during Sale-a-bration, for every $50 you spend (before taxes and shipping) you get to select a FREE product from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. Don’t have paper copies of the catalogs? Drop me an email and I’ll put one in the mail.
