Small detailed floral thinlits

As I said yesterday, I’ve been continuing to play with the Detailed Floral thinlits dies. This time I took the small floral piece and used it twice, once at the top and once at the bottom of my piece of very vanilla.

Stampin' Up! Detailed Floral thinlits dies and Watercolor Wishes

Next I took the mint macaron ink and stamped the sentiment which is, yet again, from Watercolor Wishes. I really do have other sets! I glued this onto a cardbase of mint macaron using my 2 way glue pen. I need to find a replacement for this since I like that (unless you squeeze it) it doesn’t come out in globs and it almost never oozes out from under what you’re gluing. It just leaves a layer of thin glue which does exactly what you want – stays in place and holds what you’re gluing. I also use SNAIL, fast fuse and tombow for various purposes, but none of them are perfect replacements for the 2 way glue pen. If you have a recommendation for a glue you love, please let me know.

I wanted to add just a little something to the space and remembered that I still have some leftover mint macaron enamel dots from the last catalogue. Perfect. Take a look amongst your leftover embellishments – you’re sure to find something there if you’re anything like me!

See you tomorrow when I’m using Playful Backgrounds,

Liz

    Hi Liz,
I also love the 2-way glue pen and sometimes it really is the only thing that works on what I am doing. Maybe SU discontinued it because it is so widely available in local craft stores. Personally I would just buy it locally and use it when needed even if it is considered “contraband”!
