I found a new (to me) challenge site today, the City Crafter Challenge Blog and the challenge this week is to focus on flowers. That appears to give me a good reason to pull out Painted Petals again. Okay, it didn’t actually get put away from the other day. The kitchen table is starting to disappear under stamping supplies again. Maybe I’ll tidy it up tomorrow. Or maybe I’ll stamp.
The challenge wanted lots of flowers so I started by embossing a piece of so saffron using the Spring Flowers embossing folder. I then stamped the flowers in wild wasabi and so saffron on very vanilla and cut that out with the smallest circle in the framelits circle collection. I used the next largest size to cut out a piece of wild wasabi for my mat. I mounted the embossed piece onto a card base of so saffron and then attached the flower image with dimensionals to give some height.
See you tomorrow,
Liz
