That’s the name of the DSP – It’s My Party DSP, not that I’m having an actual party today.I CASEd the idea of this card from Allison Okamitsu. I love the big bold typeface of the word hello paired with the fun It’s My Party DSP.
I used versamark and crushed curry embossing powder for the beautiful word and then stamped the hat in melon mambo on whisper white and quickly snipped it out. I then cut out the hello and a matching mat in crushed curry using a couple of the ovals collections framelits dies. I chose this fun paper for the background and cut out a 4″ by 5 1/4″ piece (you can get 6 of these out of a single piece of the DSP) and adhered it to the crushed curry card base. The only thing popped up today is the little party hat. I stamped the sentiment “birthday girl” on the inside of the card rather than following Allison’s card closely and putting it on the front. And there you have it – a quick and easy birthday card. Actually I need a masculine one today, I don’t think this quite cuts it so I’m going to my stash for that.
Don’t forget that I have blog candy for you at the moment to celebrate my 400th blog post (yesterday). You have until Friday midnight EST to enter to win. Read all the details in yesterday’s post.
